This tag appears to be laser etched and the writing is very fine and very legible. An unexpected bonus is the online tracking via the QR code. The tracking worked well when I tested it with my Android phone with a notification within the minute that the tag was scanned and a map popped up with the correct scan location. A scan at a friend's house using their Apple phone didn't work as quickly or have a usable location. I got the scan notification a day later and it only mentioned the name of the town we scanned the tag in. Since the scanning thing was an unexpected bonus, I'll happily take what I can get. The tag's packaging was also beautiful. The tag and split rings came in a nice cloth sack that might be used for jewelry, each in their own clear poly bag so they wouldn't scratch each other in transit. One downside was it was shipped from China and took quite a bit longer than normal Amazon Prime shipments. It was worth waiting for though. Don't let the long delay scare you away.

Love this tag! So worth it! It arrived quickly and is personalized. Even after several.minths with my.dog going to the dog park and doggie day care the tag still scans just fine. Love that I don't have to pay a subscription to use it too. Least expensive option that gives me all the features I want.

Nice quality

First of all, my dogs only wore these tags for 8 hours and they are ready scratched up. Obviously they won't read when scanned now. Second, when I scanned the codes before putting them on the dogs, it didn't read my address. It showed up as several houses over. So it's not accurate. Waste of money!Update- The seller did reach out right away to offer me a silicone version of the dog tag and refunded my money for one out of the three tags I bought for my girls. I haven't tested the tags since I first put them on my dogs collars and discovered one was scratched and wouldn't read the QR code. The tags themselves are big and look beautiful on my girls. You can read their names clearly. I just hope it all doesn't scratch off over time.

love this product, if somebody scans, you get notified by email, somebody has scan and approx location. I also have a AirTag attached to collar, and she is micro chips. have lots pets in the past. very heartbreaking when this happens.

Quality is really great

The the tag itself is decent quality, and the concept is very cute, but it takes you to a separate website with your dogs information on it. I love that part of the tag however, my dog is a petite 7 pound Chihuahua in the tag itself is just too big for her and getting her way while she’s running. Would be great to have additional sizes for smaller breeds otherwise, if your dog is not a small breed, I would recommend this

This gives information not only on the tag itself but using the QR code to provide additional peace of mind. I will do everything to make sure my friend never goes astray but, if she does, this will be a wonderful item to get her back.
