There are cheaper tubs on Amazon that do the same exact thing. This tub does not add any extra benefit vs another “polar tub”. We paid just under $90 for this one, and I found another with similar reviews at $45 and they’re made of the same material with the same functions. One adult used this daily for 3 weeks before the blow up top ring burst. The top ring no longer holds air and the hole is too large to patch. The description stated it was suitable for outdoor use, and that’s where it has been, it received regular cleaning and maintenance. We took great care of it. We talked our neighbors into buying the same tub, and their ring burst after the first clean/refill. they kept their tub indoors. I’m not sure environment was a factor, but the tub is not worth the money with cheaper options out there. My kids have blow up pool toys that have weathered the elements longer and are more durable. You’ll have better luck spending either less money for similar quality. Or more money on something more durable. Editing to add: The company reached out very quickly after my original disappointed review, which was unexpected but welcomed. They emailed us offering a refund or a new tub! We chose the new tub as we enjoy the product and functionality. We’re hopeful it’ll hold up. Regardless of the outcome, with customer service like this, the price becomes well worth it! This is a great looking pod for cold plunging. It sets up quickly, and has everything you need to get started. Our whole family uses our plunge, so it’s a variety of sizes. I’m around 6 feet tall and 220. My son in the photo is 6’1” and 167. The water level is where it is, in order to not overflow when I plunge. I can not plunge any deeper than he is in the photo, he could probably fully immerse, if the water level were higher. We keep our plunge on the lanai, and I don’t want water flooding out each time. We are using the Vevor 1/4 HP chiller. It got the water down to 61 degrees the first night. It started at 88 degrees. It’s very hot here in south FL. The second night it got down to 56 degrees. I think for this to be a cost effective option, and to reach colder temps, it’ll require additional insulation. The layers of material do seem to provide some insulation, but not nearly enough. The pod sweats a lot all day long. We really like the concept of this plunge, but I think we need a larger one. Mostly because of my size. If only one person is using it, or if it doesn’t matter if it spills over, the size won’t matter. It’s really not completely important to us. But I really want the option to fully immerse, and not spill water over. It’s a good tub, and a fine option, as long as the few compromises to adversely impact your situation.

My husband has thoroughly enjoyed his plunge tub! However, it only lasted 5 months due to a broken valve. Sadly, the release valve broke off when he was cleaning it/ refilling it, so it is now leaking and cannot hold water. I'm very disappointed in the life span of this product as it says it can be outside (and this was outside from June-Nov. so not winter temps even). The tub itself seemed durable but the valve was quite brittle. This was a great tub for the five months and was used regularly; nearly daily. He's 6'1" and 200 lb. and it worked very well for his size and needs. Frustrated it couldn't last longer...now in the market for another one. Update: after my review, I was contacted by their customer service and offered a free refund. Very pleased with their great customer service and fast response! Bravo!

I'm hooked! Plunging is now the favorite part of my morning or a reset on a stressfull day! This recovery tub is the perfect size for my body and my available space. I can even float in it. The color of it is so pretty, gray white on the outside and aqua blue on th inside. The outer cover is light grey. It's super easy to put together. An inner and outer cover, an extender for the drain pipe and a large ice bag are included. For additional precaution, I put a large piece of fiber board over the top to prevent curious animals from falling in. In warm weather, I use it on my porch and in cool weather I use it in the basement near the floor drain and don't even bother adding ice. It's cold enough to make my teeth chatter without ice. I use the garden hose to change the water weekly. The drain pipe extender makes it so easy to change and wipe clean. I use scented epsom salts to keep it clean when full. My tip is to get 2 small step stools, inner and outer, to make entering and exiting easier and for an optional seat while plunging. For me, the perfect water level is one length of my hand from the top. The first plunge might spill over a little.

I bought this after trying a friend’s. The fit is comfortable, it is sturdy so far and I like the simplicity and solid feel when set up and filled. The big important problem is the plastic fumes. First, after watching a video review, I realize I did not receive the thermometer, and the extendable draining tube is only perhaps 2 feet long, not 5 or 6 as in the review. Which meant I couldn’t drain it how I’d planned. These are minor details, although I would like the thermometer and longer tube. My biggest concern is the fumes and off-gassing from the plastic, which was so noxious that it made it hard to breathe around it. I washed it, I’ve allowed some time for it to dissipate, to no avail. I had a really enjoyable first dip except for the very strong plastic odor. Then the smell was on my body to a really strong degree, (even the pet wouldn’t come near me) until I showered. Which isn’t really the point after a cold tub to shower. I considered that a cold shower to soap off was possible but the whole picture just doesn’t seem the point. The purpose of the cold therapy is for health and recovery. The toxicity of plastic compounds, VOC’s, hormone disrupters, being absorbed through the skin is a big health concern, and I like and need to be kinder to my liver and body than that. So I’m going to try to off/out gas the plastic fumes, but if it persists, I will (sadly) be returning it.

Bought this for my wife’s birthday. It was very easy to put together is great value. I am 6ft, and can fit in it easily. The top cover that came with it had a small defect and when raised with Polar, they immediately sent a replacement which arrived the following day. So not only is it a great product, it is backed by excellent customer service. We bought some interlocking foam squares to put underneath to make it more comfortable than just sitting on the patio.

I spent ages researching and looking into the various brands / sizes / thickness etc and 'plunged' for the Polar Recovery Tub. VERY happy I did. Took literally 5 mins to put together - nice and sturdy, great quality fabric and does the job, even for my 6ft 4 partner! So far the water has kept really ice cold, even with the sun out so happy with that. I LOVE too the fact that its a cool, attractive grey/white/turquoise which blends beautifully into our garden, not like the many black alternatives, that look quite ugly and wheelie-bin like! All in all, a great quality, sizeable, super value tub, with fab customer service too from all at Polar Recovery. You can't go wrong with one of these.

Best item I have ever bought. Used for months now, plunging daily. Sturdy and does the job. Holds water temperatures well. This is priced well compared to "brand name" ones always advertised on social media.

I don't even leave reviews but this product has blown me away with regards to the quality of the product, the packaging, the price and the delivery. To start with, the ice bath was delivered a day early which was a real treat as I was excitedly counting down the sleeps. Secondly, the packaging was second to none with clear instructions and even spare pieces should you need it in the future. The assembly didn't take me long at all and I was surprised at how quickly the tub fills up. The ice bath also came with a free ice pillow gift which was a real treat and surprise as well. The ice bath is spacious and feels extremely sturdy and I can comfortably climb in and easily sit cross legged in there ( I am 5ft 9). I often sea swim to help with my pain as I suffer with an autoimmune disease which causes me joint pain so I bought this to allow me to be able to continue to feel the benefits of cold water therapy all year round even on days where the weather isn't great or I can't make it down to the sea. The cold water is a huge relief and even after only one 15 minute session in there tonight (my first go) I can confidently say this will help me no end and I came out feeling amazing. I would definitely recommend this product and with having the extra promotional 30% off voucher it made it a real bargain!
