Front of the Lotus is slightly curved and it works okay. Opening and closing is a bit of a fiddle 🤔

Will this fit the new bmw large kidney grill 4 series front and back ? there are screw holes in the car already but will they fit this ?

These Wurth plate holders are not going to fit onto the BMW kidney grill. I have seen workarounds where they have been fitted using tie clips, which work well too.

Will this cover a printed border?

This will be very close to the printed border, may even cover it a little, depending on how you put it on and where you get your number plates from. As the Wurth plate holder is a solids Matte black colour, it almost acts like a border itself, so the need for a printed border may not be necessary.
