I received my Linenspa mattress topper on Wednesday (a day earlier than anticipated) and immediately put it on my bed. There was no odor at all and was done decompressing within ninety minutes. (I wish I’d taken pictures or recorded a video, I’m sorry all I have are words to recommend this product.) I tried out the bed soon after and immediately was completely comfortable. I’ve suffered from chronic pain from an auto accident since 1990. I haven’t had a decent nights sleep in years. In January of 2022, I took a nasty fall and injured my knees, especially my right knee. Sleeping was impossible on my bed so I have been sleeping on my sofa for a year. The last two nights I’ve slept on my bed comfortably, hardly moving. No more trying to get comfortable, waking up numerous times.I read the reviews before deciding on this particular mattress topper. I was worried about getting too hot so I placed my old padded mattress topper on top of the memory foam so there was an extra layer between the foam and my sheet. I think that did the trick because I didn’t feel any extra heat, in fact, it was cooler than sleeping on a blanket on my sofa. I’m so happy with this purchase. My chronic pain is in my lower back and right hip but I also have nerve damage in my right lower leg and half my foot. I suffer from severe sciatica, I am also currently suffering from an inflamed rib cage bilaterally (for over 14 months) so finding relief in order to sleep soundly is heavenly!Again, I’d highly recommend this Linenspa 3” Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper. It’s just the thing to prolong the life of your mattress or soften a too firm mattress. I wish I’d bought one twenty years ago!

My mattress is about 12 years old. I rotate it quarterly, but you could still feel the positional wear. I was seeking a solution that wouldn’t cost “an arm and a leg.” So I chose the 3-inch topper. When I unpackaged it, I thought to myself, “this purchase was a mistake.” It had no shape, and it appeared to be a dozen different colors. But after the 48 hour or so wait, it expanded fully and looked inviting. Once I had it in place, I still had my doubts. But those doubts were immediately proven wrong after my first night’s sleep. I am a happy camper now. The pain from pressure points is gone. The only problem now is that I never want to get out of bed. I love my bed again! Great purchase!

I have a Tempurpedic mattress thats less than 2 years old. Its been doing great, until recently when we both would wake up in pain. Wasnt sure its the mattress, so instead of spending another $2000 on a new mattress, we decided to try a topper first. I suffer from pinched nerves on both sides of my shoulder blades and hip displacement so my sciatic nerve kicks in once in a while. You know pinched nerves basically make you fingers go numb and ive been waking up every day with them numb for the past few weeks. Since getting the mattress, we both have woken up in way less pain than we normally have been. He has a bulging muscle on his left shoulder blade. Sleeping on this topper has eased that pain on him. The only bad part is, we wake up sweating! But, ill take pain relief over that any given day! I could have settled with the 2 inch cause the 3 is way too much and it does make it harder to get out of bed...even to roll out of bed! Im short so its quite hard for me lol. But, it does 98% of its job. I just need to figure out how to make it a not so sweaty sleep for us both.

I am going to address all of the negative comments by some other reviewers, because i experienced zero of their complaints.There was absolutely no odor or fumes when we opened this, in the house, in winter, windows closed. Zero. I have asthma; I would have detected fumes when others do not. And I did so in the dining area of our small house with an L-shaped living room dining room, so it was pretty much 'in my face' for hours.2/3 expanded in 3 hours. The rest of it was finished when we got up the next morning. Far less than even 12 hours.It did not tear. It is bulky, (3 inch queen size) so I had help to move it to the bed, but its not really heavy that way. We did not drag it or pull on just one corner; we folded it in half and carried it to the bed. Then gave it a tug or two to align it. No indication it would tear.Either I have a different product than the other reviewers, or some reviews are by competitors? Because all that was wonderful.Comfort: Fantastic! I have recently hit the point of osteoarthritis in my hip, and am a side sleeper...and it felt like I was sleeping with a rock under me. Not sleeping well at all, needless to say. The 3 inch foam eliminated that issue for me as much as could be possible....95% of pain and discomfort gone, vanished!Heat retention: I placed an old mattress cover around it, the kind that used to have some quilting but has been washed to the point it should have been trashed really...so just a touch of some insulation more than a sheet. The sheet I put on top was much heavier/thicker cotton sort of surface than any other sheets I have. The foam did retain some heat, but that was perfect for the arthritis in my hip, knees, feet. I will likely be putting away one of my two heavy blankets I have been using with a light quilted bedspread that is a good air block, and that's great. That former arrangement was too heavy and would get too hot and awaken me at night, but I needed that to get my joints warm and 'quiet' enough to sleep. Not anymore! The mattress topper gets very comfortably warm in just a few minutes. i am writing this in April in south central PA; temps have been in the upper 30s to upper 40s at night and our thermostat is set at 72 at night, though I have to close the vent in my small bedroom or i get roasted when the heat flows. The thermostat is that high because of the illness of my roommate and our 70 year old brick home is a bit drafty, needing windows and new insulation. I was quite comfortable having some gentle heat from retention by the foam on my joints, while my face and shoulders enjoyed the cooler room temp.Its wonderfully soft and cushiony. I was comfortable both in my normal side sleeping positions, and also when I had my head rather elevated on multiple pillows (which puts more pressure on the hips). I did not experience any difficulty at all rolling over, even though I am 5'10" and 195 lbs. I frequently roll over... so much so I use a queen bed all to myself. In fact, it was EASIER for me to roll over than it had been rolling over the hard mattress surface...my mattress is not a rock hard one, maybe the high end of medium firm. It has had about 6 years of regular use and has just recently developed just a touch of sag in the middle...just enough to increase pressure on my hip bone in certain positions....but this extra pressure disappeared with this wonderful topper.I would anticipate that because this is foam, that at some point it will begin to stay compressed and eventually require replacing. That is affordable at this price.... I see the same complaints made by products costing even four times what I paid for this ($90 plus sales tax). if/when I experience this, i will come back and update my review for a time concept. If I don't experience this within 6 months, I might buy a second one for a backup. The pricing was great, and necessary, because I also need to replace my chair in the living room,which aggravates my arthritis, and I couldn't afford both a good new recliner and another mattress...which might not have been good enough without a topper anyway.Extremely pleased at this moment!

I needed some padding for the back of my recliner. I used a memory foam mattress topper that I previously had, but it still bothered the back of my shoulders. I didn't know if gel infused memory foam would be any different, so I gave it a chance. Oh my goodness, it relieved the back in the back of my shoulders and back itself. I know it's a mattress topper, but I needed something and this was it. I can only imagine sleeping on it, which I might buy for the mattress also. Gel infused memory foam is definitely the way to go if you need pain relief and comfort.

I love this memory foam mattress topper. I have neck, back, and knee pain and a good mattress is really important. I had bought a new, firm mattress (big brand name). After it arrived the mattress felt much, much firmer than it did in the store. I suspect the floor model had become softer with time as people tested it out. Anyway, I was waking up with lots of extra aches and pains and stiffness. I love the extra cushion the memory foam mattress topper provides - my hips and shoulders have great support. I wake up feeling sooooooo much better! I'm so relieved, as I had wondered if I would need to get rid of a brand new mattress and buy another one. The combination of a firm mattress below and the soft, supportive memory foam topper are a perfect combination!! The two inch topper provided plenty of cushion. I did as instructed and put the memory foam flat on the floor to expand and opened a window for ventilation. There was a bit of a chemical smell, but it disappeared after about 30 - 40 minutes. I let the topper expand and air out for 24 hours before using. I am very pleased with this product and would buy it again in a split second.

We needed some soft support on a firm bed as the bed was causing us to have stiff bodies and sore shoulders. We will be purchasing a new bed in the upcoming months but for now we needed something in the interim.This gel infused topper is very comfortable. Do follow all the instructions and leave it out at least 24 hours to allow the topper to inflate itself back to normal shape.Once it has expanded, you may think it won't help at all, but so far it definitely has made a difference for us.One of the things that I am not happy with is that the tiny little blue gel balls fall off easily. You would think they would be embedded (no pun intended) better. So you kind of feel like the product you just spent a hundred dollars on is already crumbling straight out of the package :/All in all, this is doing the job we need it to do and it's doing it quite decently. I would recommend this purchase for someone who is looking for soft support and comfort without a huge price tag of a new mattress set.

Had bought an adjustable bed and new mattress. However the mattress we bought to use on the adjustable bed felt a bit too hard especially when bed head or foot was raised. We used this gel foam topper to help to give it an additional layer of softness. Even with only 2 inches, the foam topper does the job with the advantage of working well on the adjustable bed. After airing for just one day, there was no smell. Order the Twin XL and fit perfectly. The mattress comes compressed in a tight plastic bag. I purchased this mattress topper to be placed on top of the cushions for my camper. Reading through all the reviews, I was confident that this would solve my comfort problem. It did not however. I found myself waking through the night, sweating and experiencing the same pressure point pain as before the mattress. (Normally, I sleep the entire night at home.)Unfortunately today as I was winterizing the camper and removed the mattress, I found a tear in it. I guess this would explain some of my discomfort through the night! I have only used it roughly 2 months. (I was not rough with it and no children were jumping or pulling at it.) I am quite disappointed as I was hoping this would be the solution to my comfort problem.I am seeking a refund for this product.
