An Outstanding Fragrance That Performs Like a Luxury Scent
Detour Noir completely exceeded my expectations. The scent is rich, smooth, and beautifully blended with a perfect balance of sweet, woody, and slightly spicy notes. It smells far more expensive than its price would suggest. The performance is excellent, with impressive longevity and strong projection during the first few hours before settling into a refined, long-lasting scent. Iโve received numerous compliments every time Iโve worn it.The bottle is generous, the fragrance is versatile enough for both casual and formal occasions, and the overall quality is exceptional. If youโre looking for an affordable fragrance that performs like a premium designer scent, Al Haramain Detour Noir is an easy five-star recommendation.

Haramain -Detour Noir-
I really like this fragrance. I would say itโs more of a fall maybe leaning more towards a winter fragrance. It gives me wood cabin on a chilly but sunny day with snow on the ground. Hot chocolate and great coversation. It opens up with a slightly fruity yet fresh apple and jasmine with hints of mandarin or some other kind of citrusy middle notes that linger in the air. Which last a good hour or two. During this time duration the middle notes start to fill the air around 20 minutes of your first application creating a warm, powdery, woody, aromatic aroma where the vanilla, bergamot and patchouli start to be the star of the show. Mixed with Subtle hints of the top notes like the lavender and mandarin will still surprise you hear and there and this will be your main scent. Itโs a great scent. Real cozy yet spontaneous. The base notes/cool down aroma gives off a warm, spicy, musky ambiance to initiate the โget closeโ phase of the fragrance. Sandlewood, geranium and guaiac wood set this tone. You can get slight scents of pepper too. The packaging isnโt the greatest so if your a collector or connoisseur you will most likely be shelving this unique sleek bottle by itself. It looks really sophisticated and classy. It takes me to a white collar male who is a big shot and drives a Ferrari. The cap, well at least mine, is very loose so you can just take it off with ease. Iโm not sure if that is by design of faulty but either way itโs a good quality of life. It seats properly itโs just something I thought I would mention so you donโt grab the bottle by the cap and end up dropping the bottle. Has a vaporisateur nozzle so you will get great application and coverage with the amount of mist it gives off. I am a one to two spray applicator so this is perfect for me. Gives me longevity with the fragrance and thereโs no need to over saturate the scent since it doesnโt have a stream spray. You get a good 100ml or 3.3 fl. oz. That can easily last you 6-12 months. Even longer depending on your application. Overall this fragrance is fresh enough to be a daily on the go, go to scent yet subtle enough to be occasional for more smooth, chill, inviting settings. I would still emphasize I feel this is more of a fall/ winter fragrance. I would recommend. You canโt lose based on the pricing alone

A Fragrance Shrouded in Mystery and Shadow
Al Haramain Detour Noir is a perfume that enters the senses like a whisper in the dim corridors of the mind, evoking both intrigue and unease. Its dark accordsโrich, smoky, and subtly spicedโlinger with a persistence that fascinates and ensnares, as if the air itself has been imbued with a secret intent. There is a certain melancholy elegance in its presence, a reminder that beauty often walks hand in hand with the shadows that haunt it.Yet, it is not without its imperfections. The complexity, while alluring, may verge on oppressive in prolonged proximity, and its projection, though strong, is uneven in certain atmospheres. I award four stars, for it enthralls with its depth and character, a scent that demands attention yet rewards contemplation. Al Haramain Detour Noir is a companion for those who revel in the mysterious, a perfume that embodies the duality of darkness and allure, of elegance intertwined with the sublime specter of the unknown.

It's Layton
OK... this is gonna seem like I'm digging at it, but this isn't a scent profile that I enjoy, it is, however a 9/10 mass appealing fragrance. It is a 9 because it is a clone and not standalone, but would be a 10 for it's uniqueness if it were it's own thing. In my opinion, Layton smells like Old Spice shower gel with Vanilla and powdery creamy woods; blue shower gel + spice meets niche. This captures the same exact effect with more or less on some of the notes being pronounced or lessened, but I'm a frag head, most won't be able to pick those up. In fact, I'm not buying Layton because of this clone. Maybe I should relent and get Liquid Brun to challenge Altair.... anyway ...It's a fall and winter scent, but because I have other frags, this could be my daily dummy inasmuch as Layton would be. This frag DOES make you wait for it's payoff though, and the payoff is pleasing. I'd wear this with blue/gray suits and herringbone tweeds. Women love this scent profile, and I'm all "meh" ... it's a scent profile I don't have in my collection in mass. It's unisex, but most would believe it masculine. Like it gives, "husband that I admire" energy, "he smells nice" energy, and "he has a good job, he got a lil money" energy but not, "he smells sexy" to my nose. It does have a projection bubble where, about 4 ft away it smells like a powdery sweet version of the opening, but as you draw closer to the source, it smells like the other sweet notes more dominately - which I love.I almost gifted it to my 8 year old just bc it isn't my favorite scent profile, it doesn't mean it's bad, it isn't my cup of tea. Mass appealing fragrance; 9/10. Personal rating 7/10

Incredible Layton Clone โ Even Smoother Than the Original!
If you have been eyeing the famous (and very expensive) Parfums de Marly Layton, do yourself a favor and buy this instead. It is an absolutely incredible alternative that gets you the luxury vibe for a fraction of the price.Right out of the bottle, the standout feature is the dry-down: it settles into a beautiful, rich vanilla that smells incredibly high-end. Honestly, it actually comes across a little smoother than the original designer version, which is a massive win.A quick tip for the best results: If you find the projection or staying power a bit light at first, don't worry. Fragrances like this need about 6 to 8 weeks to "mature" after you spray them for the first time. Letting the bottle rest and oxygenate will naturally deepen the oils, making it last significantly longer on your skin and project much further.Even just 5 days in, the scent itself is fantastic. Highly recommended if you want that premium Layton style with a smooth, beautiful twist!

Decent dupe
I picked this up after hearing itโs a dupe for Parfums de Marly Layton. The scent is definitely in the same ballpark โ sweet, spicy, with a warm vanilla and apple vibe. Itโs cozy and wearable, especially in cooler weather.Performance is solid for the price. I get around 6โ7 hours of wear, which is more than I expected. Projection is moderate โ not a room-filler, but people close to you will notice it.That said, the opening can be a little harsh and synthetic. It settles nicely after a few minutes, but the first spray isnโt the smoothest. Also, the bottle design and sprayer feel a bit cheap.

Smells Great
Layton for cheap. Great add to any collection for the price

It is as it's described
It's suppose to be a close rendition of JPG Layton. I'll take your word on that. This smells nice. The bottle is a little weird but if you put the atomizer in a different position, it's not bad.I'm far from a good source to get good fragrance advice from but it does smell real good and I wear it to work in a climate controlled environment. I don't get compliments because we just don't seem to do that at my job but I like the scent anyways which is what matters.

Nice one
Was not skeptic about this one..after day 3 onwards I felt itโs well worth buying.. more expectation over the time which is normal for most of the middle eastern fragrances..

Heavenly Fragrance, but requires maceration to reach its full potential
Amazing value for money. I can't compare it to Layton as I have never experienced that fragrance, but I adore the smell of Detour Noir, and definitely agree that it is much akin to apple pie with vanilla ice cream. To me it is heavenly. My first initial impression was not as positive, but after a few weeks of maceration, the scent improves immensely and to me, it is now easily one of my favourite fragrances. The bottle is hideous in design though, atomiser is great. Lasts a good amount of time on skin and on clothes.

Perfect for cool weather or summer nights.
I was skeptical to purchase Al Haramain's Detour Noir, but purchased it anyway since it's highly rated by some. So, I was so excited to open the package when it arrived. Honestly, I didn't like the bottle as it's awkward to spritz and the nozzle keeps falling off. The opening smells fresh, citrusy and woody, with sweet vanilla almond and musk; and I thought at first that it leans more on the musculine side, but just wait until the dry down. It has a very good projection as the clean-fresh vibe will surely fill the entire room. Unfortunately, it does not last that long on my skin (4-6 hours), but who cares, it's affordable at 145 SAR compared to Layton, and I love the smell! Highly recommended to men and women alike.
