Debbie Meyer GreenBags Freshness-Preserving Food/Flower Storage Bags, Extra Large, 8-Pack

Worth every penny! I have been using them for 6 years now, and have recommended them to my family and friends. Would not be without them!

Extremely good and certainly prolong the life of the salads and vegetables

I am amazed at how well these keep my leafy greens fresh. I use them for my fresh spinach and kale and lettuce. I tested to see how long they would last in my fridge, got to around 2 weeks or so compared to 2 days without the bags. Only downside is there is no way to close the bags up so I have to use an elastic band. I've seen these same bags sold at husk except they zip up like a ziploc bag, think I will buy those next time.

I LOVE these! First bought them when I lived in Florida and was amazed that they work just like the advertising says! I'm single so would often have to throw out fresh produce after a few days since I couldn't use it up fast enough. With these bags that doesn't happen anymore so less $$ spent and less wasted food. I do find that I am more satisfied with the product if I wrap the produce in plain white paper towels before putting in the bag. The paper towels absorb the moisture that tends to accumulate on the inside of the bag which in turns speeds decay. I leave those damp paper towels in the bag to help keep the produce hydrated and only replace them if they get very wet. Some of my favorite items to put in these bags are broccoli, fresh mushrooms, fresh strawberries, apples, squash, cabbage, potatoes and lettuce. I've kept broccoli and cabbage as long as 6-8 weeks in the fridge with little to no loss of quality. When empty just rinse the inside and allow to air dry before using again, one bag can be re-used many times.

Muy buenas bolsas, realmente las frutas y verduras permanecen más tiempo frescas, estoy contenta con la compra. Muy buen servicio por parte del vendedor, lo recomiendo.

The bags worked well but are a little too large.

We love these bags, they really work keeping our produce fresh at least 3 to 4 times longer than a regular plastic bag or containers. We used to buy them a few years ago when we could get them at a local hardware store but they stopped carrying them. Unable to find them anymore I thought of checking on-line at Amazon and was able to buy them through them. I would highly recommend these to anyone that would like to keep their fruit and vegetables fresh and edible for much longer. We have had tomatoes and bananas last for up to 2 weeks in these bags.
