Good support!
Suddenly it started with a trigger thumb! For support mostly in the night I bought the thumb splint! It helps, it takes the pain away as long as I wear it!

A tremendous aid.
Excellent product, well-made, does its job, easy to use. It perfectly braced my thumb causing a reduction of pain, and helped quick healing. Can be worn comfortably overnight. Would recommend.

I'll have a large one please...
I haven't got what could be considered large diameter wrists in the slightest, so maybe I should have looked for a larger sized thumb support for my De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis as the Velcro fastener on this item is only secured by 1/2 an inch or so. The inner material is a little scratchy too but after an hour or so I didn't notice as much.On the other hand (terrible pun), once the support is in place with the thumb Velcro fastened tight, the support is great and prevents thumb movement completely. The metal strip hidden inside the top of the thumb part is obviously doing its job.So it works... It really works.

Great value, wouldn't but more expensive
The support isn't as firm as i imagined, however it does restrict movement and I've already seen improvments in De Quervain symptoms after just 2 days.My physiotherapist said they looked good. A little less luxurious looking than expensive ones, but they do the job. Therefore I reckon they are great value. When I first saw them I was confused abd thought thry were massive - influenced by previous reviews, then remembered the wide part was for my wrist, not base of thumb!!I have slender wrists and the velco adjustment allows for a perfect fit.

Huge
This is huge. It didn't relieve any pain because it was so loose. I do have small hands but assumed a small would cater for a grown woman's hands. I'll be looking at children's sizes next.
