Does the job, clear readings

I don’t know how we lived without this useful information. The clock is attractive, operates well and provides dependable information for monitoring the tide

Once a day, the tide time is almost accurate. It's almost as if they accidentally placed a regular clock mechanism instead of the tide mechanism. I shows 2 full and 2 low tides in a 24 hour period and doesn't track properly with the 1 its adjusted for. Looks good on my wall but not functional

I grew up at the beach. We always had to check the tide book when we wanted to go fishing or swimming. Then one day I went in a clock store and they had a tide clock. I never knew there was such a thing. I immediately bought one for my parents who live at the beach. They have to drive to the beach, so it's nice to know what the tide is doing before you get there. We own cottage right on the water, and I got so used to using my parents' clock when visiting them I had to get one for the cottage. We wanted something cheap because nothing lasts long in the salt air, especially if it has any metal. This clock is perfect. It is accurate and doesn't look cheap hanging on the wall.

It works

Out of the box the outer frame is bent, dented, not immediately noticeable but is a defect. I set this when we first received but it was wrong a few days later, so I reset on the last full moon a few days ago. Today it was off again by about an HOUR. I reset it again and will see if it gets better. If not, it’s going back. I waited about 2+weeks to rcv and was so hopeful. Clock itself looks great…if only it would work!! Update….had to return it. Every day the inaccuracy got worse.
