Do the 2 main filters insert in the same direction ie black up & white down? Or are they 1 black up and 1 black down? The manual doesn't say.

I think arrows should face inside as showing “insert.” Usually an arrow on any filters shows direction of the air flow. Other Blueair filters like 211 and 411, white sides face the outside. But, yeah, the manual makes confused. Blueair staffs must give a clear answer for it.

Which direction do you install the filters? Black side up or white side up? In the plastic both filters were white side up but writing upside down

Hi there, the filters for the DustMagnet should both have the carbon side facing upwards.

The support page on Blueair website says both main filters should be inserted with "arrow pointing upwards", not inwards. Could you confirm?

Hi there, we ask that you install both filters with the carbon side facing upwards.

what's the difference between this product and other hepa designed air filters?

Hi there, Blueair's HEPASilent™ technology captures at least 99.97% of airborne particles down to 0.1 microns in size, removes germs and delivers especially high performance and efficiency by combining electrostatic and mechanical filtration technologies. This combination, pioneered by Blueair, delivers high Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) with whisper-silent operation and high energy efficiency.
