Gamexpert GX300 Stereo Gaming Headset - Blue (PS3)

What can I say hmmm I have never played my PS3 online I recently started and I woz in need off good headset so I seen this gx300 and wow really really good works like a charm, I have all my m8s online they all can chat and play at the same time good quality and for the money so so good.ps happy man

These were a present for my twelve year old, who is very pleased with them. Lightweight and comfortable enough to wear for extended gaming sessions. Sound quality is good for the price.

Bought to replace dead Bluetooth headset. Thought I would try out a wired connection for more longevity and reliability. These were only around the £15 mark so thought I would give them a try. They arrived as expected, the packaging was fine, no dramas there. Upon opening the product was in good shape too. They're made of plastic, the head brace feels a little flimsy but rigid enough. The arms are extendible through toothed slides and seem to stay in place without sliding or slipping. The microphone boom moves freely and stays in place well. There is a little flex in the boom itself allowing you to make small adjustments in distance from your mouth. The headphones didn't quite sit right on my head. I can't seem to find a comfortable position on my ears, almost as though they need tilting a few degrees to contour the sides of my head. This lead to (within 10 minutes of wearing) outer ear ache. They require constant shifting around (only my left ear, which is weird) to periodically stop the aching. I wear them for no longer than an hour a few times a week so this isn't a big deal for me. The cushions on the ear pieces feel soft, but they simply sit on your ears. This gets uncomfortable and although I've noticed no loss of sound quality as a result, they get irritating after a while and require adjusting or moving slightly. The lead is plenty long enough. The box with mute, chat and game volume work well. I personally find I have to turn the game volume way down and the chat onto maximum to properly hear other players. The microphone itself does seem a little sketchy. On several occasions those that I'm talking to on line have commented I'm very quiet. After some shimmying and moving around it seemed to improve. The sound quality I think is good, not sure if they're 'stereo' but I did notice sound effects moving from side to side. Connecting to the PS3 was straight forward, USB and TV jack. A little adjusting in the settings (the book that comes with it tells you how) and it worked immediately. Overall, they do for me, a casual gamer but any serious player I would definitely spend more money and get a different set. For some, like me, whom find the position of the ear pieces uncomfortable may find it too much over time. If you don't spend much time on line these are fine. But anyone who spends more than a couple of hours a week playing, I would recommend getting something with more adjustment and much larger ear cushions.

Worked fine for a week although the sound was crakling, than the microphone stopped working!! Not happy, it's cheap for a reason I am afraid.

My daughter had minecraft for Christmas and after seeing her trying to talk to her cousin via txt and writing in game signs I asked if she wanted to buy a headset with some of her xmas money. She picked this one which was delivered fast and works perfectly. I will say though make sure you have the button switched to on NOT off otherwise it won't work. A great product just what my daughter wanted.

Had this a few months and it's started playing up, it's like the buttons are being pressed but there not, which makes it go all over place when on a game.

Fabulous cheap headset! I have purchased 2 sets as childrens birthday presents and they have been thrilled with them. The sound is crisp and clear, and the mic works well. I will be purchasing more soon. ☺

Overall its a great product but the soft ear protector comes off quite easily, although it can be put back on its a pain in the backside
