I purchased these as a family gift for Christmas, since over the summer we played laser tag at a pro place while on vacation and the kids loved it. The set does use a lot of batteries, but it's far cheaper than the rechargeable option, and I could see problems with one or two of the units running out of charge during a session, so I went with batteries that can be quickly replaced. Overall these things are a lot of fun! The sensors seem to be fairly accurate, and I agree with those that have said turning off the 'hit' sensor on the gun makes the game a little easier for little ones. That said, with a few basic 'house rules' this set is perfect for a 4 person battle, either teams or free for all! When guns and sensors are set to the same team color (red, green, blue, orange) the gun will not register a hit on the same color, making teams easy to set up. We had to make a rule that the sensors couldn't be turned off or changed from teams (since it's a button press) during a battle, because my son figured out he could switch his, shoot me while I couldn't register a hit on him, and then flip it back. That said, with a few good honor system house rules we had a lot of fun playing this a few times already in the house. Last night the kids teamed up against me and tried to take me on with all the lights out and it was a LOT like a real laser tag arena (with the added bonus of a cat and two dogs 'playing' too). This was a great purchase and I'd recommend it for any family who wants some rainy day fun at home and isn't afraid to have a little running/bumping/jumping going on inside, or any family who has some good space outside with lots of hiding places!

Bought it for my kids so we can all play as a family we love this game! Will recommend the ones with batteries you can buy rechargeable an and it’s easy to replace and keep playing when one dies! We can play for hours is so fun! Is great quality and works really good!

Got these for a Christmas present for the kids. Each box comes with 4 guns and 4 chest sensor plates. The colors are red, blue, orange, and yellow. Eash gun uses 3 AAA batteries and each chest sensor uses 3 AAA batteries. Make sure to buy them in bulk. The set is cool with many options. Each gun/chest plate can change to any of the 4 team colors. The funs can change from pistol, shotgun, machine gun, and rocket launcher. The guns also have a light for playing at night and enable the receiver on the guns to if you don't want use tje chest plates. The sets are well packaged, each gun and plate wraped in plastic. A nice perk is you can actually put them all back in the box. Game play is great. Used them at night and was a ton of fun. Once the llayer loses three bars, the plate says game over and flashes, the guns cant shoot. Nut a player can reset their chest plate and shoot again. As long as people are honest, it's all good. The chest plates come with straps to put on and keep thwm on place. They feel solid and LEDs are bright. The guns just the same, feel good of quality, easy setting, and easy to use. We had age ranging? from 9 to adults and everyone had fun. Not sure howomg the batteries will last but looking to have fun until they drain.

Bought this for a 7 year olds bday. Was a definite winner. All the kids started screaming in unison and planning when they would start playing laser tag. Definitely a birthday gift for all ages. And one that anyone can enjoy! Highly suggest.

I bought this set of "not lazer tag" ( but, basically lazer tag) guns and vest targets for my 8 year old nephew's and they love them. The adults had a lot of fun with them testing them out for the boys too. The option to run the target off the gun or the vests is great in that you can either go for the old lazer tag feel or just stick to one piece in the set (making it harder to cheat by covering your target). There are a lot of cool extras like switching thing up sound effects for different modes (shotgun, missile launcher, pistol and automatic) and setting yourself to certainties to prevent friendly fire. The range on these things is great, usually further than your line of sight in most backyard situations (I think the box said something like 200 yards). Overall this is a great product and I highly recommend it with one minor caveat, the battery life seems to run out very fast, maybe a half hour to 45 minutes of constant use (with each unit using 3 aaa batteries), but that's not too much different than I remember from the original Lazer Tag sets back in the 1980's. Unlike some other newer versions of this type of item, a smart phone is not required to operate or interact with other players which also increases its accessibility to younger kids for me.

It's the go-to toy when my nephews pay my daughter and I a visit. The features allow some fun options for playing an official game. There are team modes, different weapon options, Led indicators for how man hits you've received, etc., and switching through the options are pretty intuitive. If I was trying to organize a game (with rules!) this would be a suitable set for that. Most the time, though, the kids like to run around the house shooting each other and randomly toggle through the different weapons, and it works great for that too. It is a little noisy (and there's no volume control), but they are not exceptionally loud. Essentially, I can still read, crochet, do whatever while the kids are playing with the set. One of my nephews has times where he is very averse to loud noises, but he still really likes playing with this set. The guns and vests are sturdy, and there aren't any small pieces that get broken off. We have had issues with the bottom vest strap becoming unhooked and just sort of dangling, but it's easy to reattach and in no way impacts game play. The kids have played several times under the same batteries that we put in when we got them, so that's been a nice suprise. The whole set together uses quite a few batteries, so it's nice to see longevity!

Thought we bought the rechargeable guns. These need too many batteries and seem like a waste in our opinion. The quality of the toy itself seemed pretty decent otherwise

Kids love them, specially in the dark. great way to get them up and running around. Not cheap but worth it so far.

I ordered this 4 guns and vest set and got only set of 2...and i paid around 23 k and got a bill worth only 4999...worst item to be honest

What can I say about running around outside at 35 years old, it’s the worst! However if you happen to have this amazing set of laser tag guns and your taking down your kids one at a time because nobody can beat the master. I guess running isn’t so bad after all and it’s good for your heart. I didn’t post a pick because what you see is what you get you can’t see the detail in the picture but there is a lot of lights and buttons. I only gave 4 star rating on durability and sturdiness because I haven’t used them more than 4 or 5 times so far. Everything works wonderfully and is very easy to use. You can set up teams in a multitude of ways from Every person for there self to 1 against 3 or two on two. There are 4 options of guns you can choose from and they all have sound effects to match. You have 3 lives and it takes more than one shot to take a life so games can last anywhere from 1 minute to 10. You don’t always have to wear the vest you can play a game with out them I find it depends where your playing whether or not you use them. The lasers shoot 150ft no problem and are very accurate. There is even an invisible mode that turns of your lights on the vest and gun for 15 seconds when playing a night. So far I’m really happy with my purchase I highly recommend this product it’s an absolute riot, and believe me when I say it doesn’t matter if your 6 years old or 50 your going to have fun. Please give it a shot “no pun intended” but remember your not 12 anymore so take it easy your first time out and don’t forget to stretch.
