Saxton TCT Circular Wood Saw Blade 160mm x 20mm x 80T compatible with Festool TS55 Bosch Makita etc compatible with 165mm Saws

A great blade for the money. Don't make the mistake I did though. Unlike most blades e.g. my original festool plunge saw, which are printed only on the side you see, this one is printed on both. I didn't check that and just plonked it on my saw. I started to use and thought " this is rubbish". I removed the blade and low and behold printed both sides and I had it on wrong way. After putting it back on I fired the saw up a woo hoo cut like a knife through butter. The 80 teeth on it gave a great finish with little if no splintering, also for less than £20 you can't go wrong. Recommended.

Excellent blade. Cut 12mm 3ply softwood plywood 8’ x 4’ sheets with ease. I’ve not used these before and I found it cut with very little in the way of splinters. I’m very pleased with it. Photo shows the edge of a sheet I’d just cut, no sanding or planing done to the edge.

I’ve been using a Festool track saw for 20 years, these blades are fabulous, don’t be put off by their low price, they’re the best value blades I’ve ever used. The TCT tips aren’t huge so won’t take as many sharpenings as some other brands, but still will work out best value by quite a margin.

Nice smooth cut. But if you're going to attach it to a 16mm spindle you may have to do some work with the supplied adaptor. Mine was slightly too large, and, eventually, I made a small cut in it using a fine hacksaw blade so it could compress a little. There were also a couple of small rough spots on one of the surfaces that made it difficult to get the disc vertical. I filed those down. Apart from that, no complaints at all.

Necesitaba cortar un tablero mdf/formica de 22mm. Un corte recto de unos 2m y en situ. Era imposible desmontarlo para cortarlo en condiciones óptimas. A pulso y combinado con una sierra circular Bosch con guía, este disco ha superado mis expectativas. Corte limpio en todo el recorrido de una sola pasada y sin esfuerzo. Prácticamente perfecto y eso, por la situación del tablero, tuve que cortar desde dentro (la parte que queda oculta por el congelador) hacia fuera, la salida del disco (al lado visible). La salida ha sido muy limpio, sin astillar. Ahora solo hace falta pegar el canto y nadie sabría que ha sido cortado 'en casa' y a pulso. Ha superado mis expectativas. Tampoco ha habido problemas de calentamiento del disco durante el corte que fue de una sola pasada en un sitio reducido y desde luego no óptimo para el corte. En horizontal sobre una mesa para cortar con sargentos seria cosa de coser y cantar. No puedo hablar del rendimiento en términos de uso prolongado pero para este trabajo ha sido perfecto.

Ich nutze dieses Saxton Sägeblatt (160 mm Durchmesser, 80 Zähne) auf meiner Bosch Akku-Kreissäge und bin absolut begeistert. Der Einsatz läuft bisher völlig ohne jede Beanstandung. Was die Schnittleistung angeht, hat das Blatt meine Erwartungen weit übertroffen. Ich habe damit verschiedene Materialien bearbeitet: Holz. Furniere und Plexiglas: Wer schon mal Plexiglas gesägt hat, weiß, wie schnell es schmilzt oder splittert. Dieses Blatt zieht durch wie durch Butter – mit einem sauberen, klaren Ergebnis. Besonders beeindruckend ist, dass man über die gesamte Strecke in einem einzigen, völlig mühelosen Arbeitsgang durchziehen kann. Kein Ruckeln, kein Blockieren der Akku-Säge, einfach ein flüssiger und präziser Schnitt. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
