First glance, I thought smaller than expected. But they are perfect for all sizes of my watercolor brushes. I chose these holders because they are the only holders that keep brushes flat. This prevents water from running back into the ferrel of the brush. Which ruins them. I use one for set up and the other for wet brushes to wash again when finished. Very very useful. Keeps things tidy organized and helps out a great deal. Surprised how much of a difference these little holders made! They are far better than fancy holders that don’t even give proper brush care.

Professional Art brushes can be on the pricey side. The worse thing one can do to a good brush, or any brush for that matter, is lay them down so that the moisture in the bristles backs into the ferrule that holds the bristles and/or park them in a position that puts any pressure on those bristles. This brush holders are great. Small enough to take up minimal space and just high enough to position the brushes correctly. Bonus: they are made of silicone which do not slide around easily. I highly recommend

Saved work top surface. Less clean up.

Just a tiny piece of rubber, with a few notches to rest smaller brushes in a mostly horizontal configuration. Practically useless.

I am very happy with this product. It helps avoid any mess from the oil paint.I just wish they'd come in several sizes as they are very small.Would definitely recommend this product.

They're a little small. I'd like them to be a big larger. Sometimes brushes roll off into each other but nothing I can't live with.
