I've put over 500 miles on this bike commuting back and forth to work. I'd say I have a pretty good feel for it by now.I would definitely buy this bike again. This was my first e bike, and I'm so glad I didn't listen to the guy at the bike shop trying to convince me to buy a $3000 dollar 500w bells and whistles version. The hiboy is faster, sleeker and whole lot cheaper.It rides great and I've got up pass 30mph on downhill grades. The fat tires make for such a smooth ride. Not a huge fan of the half twist throttle. If I was you I'd get in the habit of turning the bike on, and off while you are seated on it. I was getting off one day while it was still on, and I twisted the throttle by accident, and shot off like a rocket with me along with it. I would suggest getting hydraulic brakes for it, or really good pads to replace the factory ones which are junk. Get better pedals as well, and I highly would suggest getting rear view mirrors.This bike is heavy at 65 pounds so you might want to think about that if you live upstairs. If you run out the battery it's going to be tough cranking those pedals. I would never take this bike on serious MTB trails. This bike is for streets and gravel paths.I weigh around 200 pounds, and it scoots me around pretty well. However, there is not a lot of get up a go from a stand still using the throttle or pedal assist. I'm sure someone lighter than me would notice a difference.I've had no problems with the motor or battery. My biggest issues with this bike is it pulls up 08 error codes almost daily. I'm not sure why, it could be a short in the wiring or the controller is bad. It gets annoying. It's also a noisy bike. Not terribly so, but there is some noticeable noise. It's been that way since I got it, nothing is perfect. If you are new to ebikes, or just don't want to spend that much, this bike is the way to go. You can always upgrade what you want.

I now have about 100+ miles on the HiBoy and it has operated prefectly. The battery has been much better than I expected. I do between 20-40 mile rides and get home with 40% on the longest which was 38.7 miles. It will go up to 29.6 MPH but most the time I am around 20 MPH. The gears and shifting are perfect and are very fast and smooth changing gears and one of the best features on this bike. It is very comfortable and the seat is a million times better than expected. Not to big not to small, just right. I have had zero issues and the bike comes 90% built, add front tire and handlebars and go. Fast and good instructions. I have seen a few youtube videos from bike reviewers who all were very surprised about this bike and that is the reason I purchased it. I am very happy with this bike. I also have a Super73 and a Onyx RCR and this is a wonderful addition to my collection. Can't go wrong with this one. Very happy customer.

Good bike, breaks are kinda bad after some good distances. There are some great bike breaks on Amazon that aren’t that expensive that are helpful. Love the bike otherwise.

This is a great bike. My 14 year old son and two of his friends all have the same one. I did have an issue with the brakes and Hiboy support went over and above to correct the issue. A very positive experience.The bike lasts a long time on one charge. My son has put over 700 miles on it in about four months.

The media could not be loaded. 12 May 2025 - The batteries must all be bad or the bike has a huge drain. I'm issuing pedal assist so I should get 60 miles, but i don't, I get 20.On my first bad battery, they asked for video and gave me a free 2nd battery. I put the old battery into my backpack and used the new battery because i was excited to get 40 miles. I work 26 miles from home, I can't even use this bike. It sucks. I went for a test ride to see what range the new battery got. I've been working with hiboy so long i can't return the bike to amazon, I'm screwed.Oh by the way, I weigh 175 pounds, ride on a bike path that's 95% flat. Any incline is 2-3 feet, sidewalk to Street kind of thing. And I pedal.23 July - I had 4 spokes break off the bike, I don't quite know when it happened, but I came home to see the spokes are broken. Again, they have good customer support so they are sending me another battery and a new rear wheel.30 July - The chain keeps popping off the front crankset, so out of my own pocket, I ordered a new crankset with double wall chain retention, hopefully this will solve everything.THE REAR FRAME IS BEING CHEWED AWAY BY MY CHAIN. I NEVER NOTICED IT UNTIL TODAY. THIS BIKE IS SELF DESTRUCTING AND WHEN I CALLED HIBOY AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, MICHAEL, THE PHONE REP, SAID "NO." I ASKED WHY, HE SAID "NO MEANS NO, YOU CANNOT TALK TO A MANAGER!!" WTF!!!! WHO TALKS TO A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT? I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND I DON'T KNOW WHO CAN HELP. I WASTED $1000 ON A PILE OF JUNK THAT IS SELF DESTRUCTING AND WILL BE JUNK SOON.I got a new crank set because I wanted one with an inside guard, for some reason my chain keeps popping off, so I took it out for a test drive. Jumping curbs like normal in the city, MY FRONT FORK BROKE!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES, IT SNAPPED JUST AFTER A FEW THREADS. OF COURSE I FELL AND AM BLEEDING AND BRUISED. THIS IS A DEATH TRAP

I got an electric bike from a friend but in a couple months stop to work but I like it so I think ill get a new one and omg threres a lot of choices so is really hard to take a decision. I decide on this one because is direct with amazon and they offer a real number to call to customer service and they offer the return so...isn't just a couple hundred dollars and the result was really good I received a very top quality bike frame is very solid strong and isn't heavy, tires looks awesome they works with Shimano so I feel very comfortable I put it together in around 40 minutes, pedals doesn't work so I call and they return the call same day, I got the instructions how to get a new ones I didi it and they sent me an email saying my pedals are on way. so at this point im really happy I do an investment ( around $ 1,200 ) and everything looks really good
