Granddaughter loved it.

This was so mond numbing. To start all the pieces are disorganized. So you have to dump out all the pieces to start with the very first build. Nothing snaps in tightly so there will be no playing with this after it's built. A light breeze and it will all come apart. It's just really terrible I could go on but this is enough.

This build is far more challenging than I expected it to be. I worked on it with my kiddos and so many pieces look a lot alike that it is hard to distinguish which is which. It took over 4 days of various times to get it assembled, and there was frustration in the process. Overall an older kid could handle it, but even my 7 year old struggled. It is a cute set, the people are not great, but the actual bricks seem to be of decent quality.

It's also fun to play with once it's built, and the moving parts and details add to the value of the set. The ice castle theme is perfect for the winter season. The set also allows for role-play with the carriage, which can be used to transport the included figurines around the castle. If you're looking for something officially licensed that looks exactly like the movies, this might not be what you're looking for. The setting is the same, but the characters aren't identical. If, instead, you're looking for a fun building activity set in a winter castle wonderland- this is the set for you!!Instructions were very easy to follow. Clear photos with the part that you are currently building in color while the parts you've already built are not. That made it really to read the instructions while building. I wish some of the pieces were screen printed, so I didn't have to affix stickers (I'm terrible at lining stickers up!) but that wasn't a deal breaker for me.Bricks went together well and didn't cause any issue.These are a fun budget option that worked well for me!

My Frozen-obsessed daughter could not imagine anything more fun than building a palace for Elsa and Anna, so this was perfect. I love that it comes with so many fun features: the carriage, the horse with a head that moves up and down, the fountain, the slide and seesaw, and both human and animal figures. And of course the adorable snowman! The details are very nicely done: the dolls each have different facial features and expressions, and their clothes are ornamented. Brick quality seems good and I appreciate that it comes with a separating tool. Directions are clear and colorful. Even the box is sturdy and iridescent, with a shimmery finish that makes opening a gift just a little more magical. Super fun project for my kids to build, and playability is high with all the figures and features.

Not kid friendly!!! The blocks do not fit well. An adult was putting this together and couldn’t get pieces to fit. Unfortunately we missed the return date.
