Prosacea Rosacea Treatment Gel, 0.75 Ounce Tubes (Pack of 2)

This product has worked really well for me. My rosacea has been getting worse and worse with more frequent outbreaks for the last 6 months or so. I was just about to break down and buy a really expensive serum when I ran across this product. It has cleared my rosacea right up. Besides clearing up my red, raw patches, I don't have any dry, rough patches anymore either. I used to have to literally scrape the dry thick patches of skin off of my chin, eyebrows and from around my nose every day leaving my face looking red and raw. I have always used an excellent moisturizer but had the problem of flaking and peeling skin in the problem areas even with that moisturizer until Prosacea. Now my skin looks as wonderfully hydrated as it actually is! I have been using Prosacea every day under my normal skin care routine and within 3 days of use my skin was dramatically improved. I have been hiking, exercising, been out in the sun...all the no-no's for rosacea and I have not had any breakouts since using Prosacea. I hope this product is always around...couldn't live without it now! I am going to buy a few more Of these just to have on hand.UPDATE: Just wanted to add that I have been using this product for quite a while now and still find it as wonderful as the first time I tried it. NOT ONE rosacea outbreak since I have been using it and I have been out in the sun a lot this summer (something that in the past would cause me pain and misery). I am so incredibly happy with this product. I believe you should try it despite some negative reviews because the price is cost effective enough to try without breaking the bank even if it doesn't work for you, but if it does...you will be so happy, trust me! I'd give it a million stars if I could.

Normally I don't take the time to write reviews of anything, but this product has changed my mind. I am a 57-year-old man and have had rosacea my entire adult life. It started out as acne when I was a teenager, then progressed to the rosacea stage later on, with much less acne. I have tried oral antibiotics, gels, lotions, and all of these were dermatologist prescribed. I even tried Murad products. Some treatments improved my complexion a little, some made my rosacea flare up even worse. When I saw Prosacea and discovered it was available without a prescription I decided to give it a try, too. Well...what a surprise. After just a few days the redness was diminished, and after almost a month, my rosacea symptoms were all but history. I just can't believe it. I don't know what's in that stuff, but it works for me. I am completely satisfied with it. There is no odor (at least to my nose), no greasiness as with some ointments. In fact, after applying it seems to tighten and smooth everything a little, and I have found that I receive all the benefits even using it once daily, in the morning. I suppose if I used it twice daily as the directions state I would probably have even better results. I guess I just wanted to make the tube last longer. I wish they would make it in a larger size, then I may be more apt to use it more often, even though I don't really need to. My verdict is: if you have any symptoms of rosacea, give this a try and see if it doesn't improve your complexion quickly. I only use it every other day now--in the mornings--and that seems to be often enough to keep the redness away. I'm obviously still very satisfied with it, and I hope it will work as well for you.

This product works more quickly and effectively than the prescription creams I've been getting through my dermatologist! In just a few days, it minimized the redness and bumps -- and it doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin. I do notice a slight sulfur odor, but that is minimal compared to the many benefits of this product.I use it on my chest, below the neck, so I wish it came in a larger size -- as it does go quickly if you use it twice a day on larger areas. Overall, a fantastic product -- and not easy to find in the drugstores anymore.

I first started using this product in July of last year. Before I started using it, I had tried several over the counter treatments as well as prescription steroid creams. My rosacea would clear for a short while, and then come back worse than before. I had used steroid creams for so long, my skin started thinning and I began to worry that prescriptions were only making it worse. My rosacea was primarily on my cheeks, nose and forehead, so it was noticed by everyone. One day while waiting on a friend at the doctors office, I visited a local drug store and saw this product. I was skeptical, but wanted to say I had tried everything. Prosacea gave me immediate relief in the appearance and redness...and within a few days of twice daily usage, my rosacea disappeared! The red acne looking bumps and spider veins faded away, and people started noticing that my skin was clear and vibrant...just like I never had rosacea to begin with. This product works so well for me that I have subscribed to regular shipments every 3 months. Daily use of this product has kept me rosacea free...and there are not the same risks of skin thinning that come with daily topical steroids. You really should give this a try if you have stubborn rosacea that has not responded to anything else. I can't imagine not having it as part of my daily, after shower, routine. Try it.
