I've placed this on a small trailer for security and it seems to do well. I haven't hauled much yet, so i cannot speak to it's durability yet.Notes: 1) the length is fixed, not adjustable, and 2) this will not fit a large trailer hitch with a 2 inch or larger pass-thru. You will need a 2.5 inch one for that, which I also found on Amazon.

Great little lock to prevent someone from taking my cargo trailer. It fit perfectly, and the key section has a rubber closure that looks water tight.

This trailer hitch lock is a joke. The cylinder is so big it will fit any of my trailers. This was clearly designed built and never tested on trailers yet they advertise this for trailers. It worked they tricked me into buying one since it says for trailers. Bottom Line, do not buy this if it is for a trailer. It wont work.

I like how it was long enough to put the chains through. I didn't think it would work, but it was perfect fit and because it was long I stuck it through both chains and I'm happy about that.

I had to have my original order replaced as the first item received was 3-1/2” long and I needed 2-1/2”. Once I received the correct item, it work’s really well. So far so good.
