This is just as the reviews I read said--an excellent product. It arrived quickly and in perfect shape. The Emmer is lovely, and very clean, with a delicious taste and I love that it is a whole grain. I will grind some for flour, but it cooks up as a grain well and will be very versatile. It was delicious hot with just a little butter and salt, made a great burrito filling when sauteed with the appropriate spices, and was awesome as a cold salad mixed with cherry tomatoes, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pepitas, green onions and olive oil. I soaked the grains overnight and cooked until al dente--the grains were chewy, yet tender, and I know I am getting all the goodness of the whole grain. It's a lot of delicious nutrition.

Great source of protein and fiber. I did a lot of research before I bought it. Takes longer than rice to cook and definitely a learning curve. Wonderful in salads!

Fantastic quality

This whole wheat berry ground up really nice and made a great bread.Package is easy to reuse and store.

We cook these in an Instant Pot for 1.75 hours (on Slow Cook) to make farro. Excellent - and they are whole grain, not pearled or semi-pearled.Start with boiling-hot water, about 3-1, and strain out the extra water at the end. Set the IP for 2 hours but stop it 10 or 15 mins before done.

We really enjoy having unpearled farro. This tastes great. Takes about 45 minutes to 50 minutes to cook. I definitely recommend as an alternative to rice or couscous. I would buy it again.

I got these for use with my mill to make whole grain bread. I really like the taste this Emmer adds to my wheat blend in making bread, muffins and cookies. I got Spelt also from this company in another separate order and I really like Spelt as a result of trying it.
