Q: How do I determine what shade to use?

I'm not real dark or really white but I'd say if I had to choose I'm slightly on the paler side and I use the med (med-fair) shade. I guess it's a guess, I got a sample once and happened to like the way it looked and just reordered it. I think just guess your best. This stuff is thick, so I use it under eye, between bridge of nose and eye and sort of dab and blend it. Then use my regular foundation too. So it kind of blends after you have both on. I love this stuff, love.. but its thick so some people may not it also spreads fast so use only a little bit, it'll lasts longer than you think because of small amount you use. I tried the foundation of this same brand but seem to prefer this with my regular.. So not sure if I helped, just use your reg foundation over the top of it. Good luck!

Q: Has anyone had a problem with smudges from their mascara on their upper eyelids with this concealer? Do you have any suggestions for how to avoid this

I do not use this on the lid. It is fantastic underneath my eye but I never get it too close to the lash line I also use it to cover up age spots and then after I use it I use a powder to set. On my upper lids I like color tattoo by eye studio and Loriell infallible crayon as a liner i’ve been trying for years to figure out how to keep the make up from moving and these two products along with bye-bye under eye work the best

I believe it is a small tube but you only need a tiny drop for excellent coverage
