The good (which does not outweigh the bad), the case fits well and I love the fact that it turns 360 degrees.However, within a few days the rubber edging started to come off. Thinking it was something I might have done while holding it, I carefully glued it back down. Fast forward about 4 weeks. Edging is coming off everywhere and I'm tired of gluing it down. It doesn't seems to create an issue, other than to the looks. Again, fast forward another 4 weeks. Where edging has come off, the "leather" is separating from the shell. I know that I am NOT that "hard" on a case, this simply is poor quality.The second issue is that it has 3 grooves to allow you to prop it up. The grooves aren't very deep. I can get it to sit in grooves 2 & 3 as long as I am "soft-handed" with what I'm doing, but not at all in groove 1, it just slips right out.The last issue, the auto/sleep feature does not work - at all! Setting are set correctly to on, but the cover does not turn it off or wake it up. (those "prop-up" grooves allow you to see whether the iPad is still on once the cover is closed)Unfortunately I was too patient and tried to repair it myself. I should have sent it back for a refund at the first sign of an issue, too late now. My recommendation - pay a little more and get a case that is made a little better.

This case was a gift for my husband. It looks good and is quality made. the color is beautiful. He really loved the cut-out feature to show off the Apple icon on the back. It sits up perfectly with the bendable stand. We have already recommended it to our friends. Thank you Amazon

UPDATE: After just 2 weeks, the rubbery edge started peeling.... Around the whole case! Which immediately led to the "leather" cover peeling away from all the edges. SO ANNOYING! If I'm able to get it replaced, maybe I can use modpodge or something to reinforce the edge?? The previous cover lasted 5 years before falling apart. This one looks like it's already 5 years old. Keep in mind, adults are using it, so my kids aren't flinging it around/fighting over it/picking at it........ It spends most of it's time propped up and being gently used. I'm just now editing my review bacause I'm just tired of it. Lame!Does it's job! It's a nice navy blue and fits our iPad3 perfectly. The front-most crevice to prop it up is a little slippery, so it doesn't stay put very well, but the other 2 slots work fine. Even came with a screen protector and stylus.

It has a hard shell that you sort of snap your iPad into. It doesn't feel real solid to me but seems to work okay. I worry that it will fall out. As long as it doesn't fall out the case seems to adequately protect the iPad. In person I'm not real crazy about the look of it and I don't think I'll really use the 360 degree function now that I see it. My daughter likes the look of it much better than I do so the cosmetics is just a personal thing. It's not very expensive and seems to be a decent value. We have 3 iPads in our family and have owned 6 different cases over time as the cases will wear out and this one isn't my favorite nor least favorite, it's an okay case and a good value.

Flimsy after 1st use! Bottom,where the grooves are to use to stand up iPad is very flimsy & bends to the weight of iPad! My Apple brand original one is over 5 yrs & grooves worn down 6 mths ago! Feels like a peice of thin cardboard w/strips of thin cardboard to make grooves! Have to use 1 hand to hold in place while using! Need to buy another Real Case!

Fit is a bit tighter than the last two versions. Also there is a minor flaw under the flocking/fabric on the base of the pad, like a nail head driven down too far on one side, like something fell in it hard enough to damage the pad but not the outer fabric. It just gives me something to rest my finger on.The last case did not fail at the hinge, the outermost vinyl cover just showed more wear than I'd like to present, being a hospital worker.I guess I surprised myself by ordering dark blue instead of black...

For the price, this is a simple cover and stand that fits well on my Gen3 iPad. It gives good protection for the corners and all of the controls and connection ports are easily accessible. I like the dark blue color along with the leather like texture. The rotation is smooth, and the grooves hold the iPad at the perfect angle for watching movies at my desk, in bed, or in a car. The microfiber inside keeps my screen clean and safe from damage.

Great Ipad cover that keeps my Ipad well covered and protected. It is a little bulky but not near as bad as some of my old covers. I got dark blue but the other colors look fun. The little notches work good to stand the Ipad up so that I can navigate one handed and have one hand free for other projects.
