Brilliant shuttlecocks for outdoor badminton. I’ve tried several others outdoors but none were any good unless there’s pretty much no wind at all. With the speedminton shuttlecocks, you can get a really good game in, even if it’s quite breezy. Another good thing is you can play hard and fast if you want to, or more slowly and gently if you prefer. And they last ages - the first pack I bought was several years ago and I’m only now having to buy new ones. If you enjoy badminton and you like playing outside, I can highly recommended these shuttlecocks.

These shuttlecocks are fun! I played them with ordinary badminton rackets--they work perfectly. In contrast to badminton shuttlecocks, these are smaller and more rigid which allow them to fly faster and further. The combination of the fastest speedster and the wind ring makes for a particularly fun play! All speedsters have a hole bored through the head which creates an entertaining whistle in flight. They are definitely more wind-agnostic than a badminton shuttlecock but don't expect to play them in a whirlwind. The only downside I found (which is due to a misunderstanding of mine) is that the "night" speedster does not actually glow on its own. You need to buy additional glow sticks to play in the dark. Initially I expected it to use fluorescence which is not the case.

I bought this shuttlecocks after purchasing speedbadminton rackets from another vendor (Vicfun). The three Vicfun shuttlecocks that came with the package were a big disappointment - all of them tore within a half hour of play. The ones from Speedminton though look much more "professional" and long-lasting. After several hours of play, there are no signs of wearing out. I also like that there are different kinds of shuttlecocks in the mixpack - some are good for bigger distances, some for windier conditions.

I've recently bought speedbadminton cockshuttles which lasted about half an hour. So these are like a gift from heaven. Great quality and they really can fly an amazing distance. Totally recommend

Amazing set of shutles for diferent weather, flys really far, stands even really windy weather, the wistle sound makes it more entertaining. Get ready to have fun and great exercise! We used speedminton raquets, but it works with badminton as well, just you risking to destroy badminton raquets net, because of heawier shutle. Glad my purchase, totally recomend.

Were not experts by any means and maybe i didn't read the description but they are small and very fast, other than that no complaint

1. Kaufgrund: Ich habe mir diese Speedminton Bälle gekauft, da die Bälle, die beim Aldi-Set dabei waren, recht schnell kaputt gegangen sind und ich nun welche wollte, die mehr als eine Session überleben. Zumal man mit dem Nightcrawler auch bei Nacht spielen können sollte, was ich schon immer mal tun wollte. 2. Verarbeitung: Die Bälle sind extrem robust (ich habe es bis heute nicht geschafft, einen kaputt zu spielen) und titschen z.B. auf Beton so gut, dass man selbst einen nicht direkt erwischten Ball weiterspielen kann, was manchmal für absurden Spaß sorgt, wenn das Spiel eher nach Tennis denn nach Speedminton aussieht. 3. Verwendung bei Nacht: Ich habe zu Angelknicklichtern statt zu den Markenknicklichtern gegriffen, die vom Hersteller empfohlen werden (und 50x so teuer sind), da die Passform identisch ist und den Angelknicklichtern der Ruf anhängt, sogar robuster zu sein. Man darf, wenn man mit einem Knicklicht im Ball spielt, selbigen nicht zu fest mit der Schlägerkante treffen, da sonst das Knicklicht zerbricht, was dazu führt, dass überall auf dem Schläger und mit Pech auch auf den Spielern die Leuchtflüssigkeit landet. Wenn man aber vorsichtig spielt, kann man 30min-1h bei Dunkelheit seinen Spaß mit einem Knicklicht haben. Um zu vermeiden, dass die Leuchtflüssigkeit auf den Schläger spritzt, kann man auch vorne die Spitze des Balls zukleben. Dann sammelt sich die Flüssigkeit im Ball. 4. Fazit: Da die Bälle absolut robust sind und sowohl bei Tag als auch bei Nacht einen riesen Spaß machen, kann ich sie (obgleich sie recht teuer sind) uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Acquistati per sostituire i miei vecchi volani in piume d'oca ormai troppo rovinati. Giocandolo all'aperto sono stato attirato dalla loro supposta maggior resistenza al vento e sopratutto all'usura. Il contenuto della confezione è quello descritto nell'inserzione se non chè nel mio caso manca la barretta luminosa (glow stick) per l'utilizzo in nottura...pazienza. Prima di iniziare la mia recensione voglio precisare che questi volani sono concepiti per l'utilizzo con le racchette specifiche da SPEEDMINTON; la mia esperienza riguarda invece l'utilizzo con racchette da badminton classiche e questo va tenuto in considerazione per quello che dirò di seguito. Dopo aver provato estesamente i volani con delle racchette da badminton classiche e sopratutto non professionali posso affermare che il volano migliore per l'utilizzo con racchette tradizionali è quello arancione e giallo, denominato 'FUN SPEEDER'. I volani si distinguono in 4 caratteristiche: 1) Colore, ininfluente ai fini delle prestazioni; 2) Materiale della 'testa'; 3) Peso complessivo, determinato sopratutto dalla testa; 4) Forma geometrica ed alettatura della 'gonnella', che influiscono a livello areodinamico. Il FUN SPEEDER è, oltre ad essere tra tutti quello più leggero in assoluto (peso quasi comparabile a quelli in piume d'oca), l'unico con la testa in gommapiuma e la gonna non alettata, come si può vedere in foto. Gli altri hanno tutti la testa in silicone rigido e la gonna alettata. La differenza tra questi ultimi è principalmente nel peso, con il CROSS SPEEDER risultare il più pesante mentre il MATCH SPEEDER poco più leggero: da notare che il NIGHT SPEEDER è di fatto una versione del MATCH SPEEDER con una testa semi-trasparente per permettere il passaggio della luce con l'uso del glow stick specifico, quindi uguale in caratteristiche e prestazioni. I motivi per cui a differenza del FUN SPEEDER questi volani sono meno fruibili nel badminton 'classico' è dovuto principalmente alla testa in silicone ed il peso maggiore. Queste due caratteristiche comportano che si ha un impatto più 'brusco' con la racchetta necessitando quindi sia un maggiore sforzo del polso nel compensare la spinta sia ad un peggior controllo del tiro, in quanto il volano è molto più reattivo a piccole variazioni di forza. Inoltre, grazie al maggior peso ed all'alettatura della gonna che lo stabilizza maggiormente, si ha una traiettoria più lineare: questo è sicuramente ciò che permette a questi volani di essere usati con più profitto all'aperto, permettendogli di percorrere una maggiore distanza a maggior velocità e subire meno l'influenza del vento (come d'altronde giustamente indicato nella descrizione sull'etichetta). Nel mio caso, prediligendo un tiro di tipo parabolico a breve distanza, queste caratteristiche comportano che il volano o và troppo lontano oppure cade 'a piombo' rendendone molto più difficile l'intercettazione. Un altro vantaggio del FUN SPEEDER è l'abbinamento dei colori: grazie ai colori sgargianti è molto facilmente individuabile nell'erba dove invece il CROSS SPEEDER, essendo verde, praticamente si mimetizza...dato che i volani a causa della distribuzione del peso cadono con la testa verso il basso ciò vi renderà molto più difficile individuarlo; spero che i produttori ne tengano conto. L'unico svantaggio del FUN SPEEDER è che il materiale della testa è più soggetto all'usura rispetto agli altri (come si può vedere in foto). Per quanto riguarda gli accessori non posso dire niente del glow stick non essendo presente nel mio prodotto mentre invece l'anello in gomma può essere applicato a tutti i volani ed oltre ad aggiungere ulteriore peso, riduce la capacità di rimbalzo e probabilmente crea maggiori turbolenze, portando ad un volo più instabile...personalmente ne sconsiglio l'utilizzo consigliando di preferire in caso di vento forte l'utilizzo di un volano più pesante. In definitiva se avete necessità di un volano da usare con le classiche racchette da badminton, vi consiglio di acquistare il solo FUN SPEEDER essendo gli altri SECONDO LA MIA ESPERIENZA non agevolmente utilizzabili. Ho dato 5 stelle al prodotto perchè comunque il mio utilizzo non è stato quello per cui sono progettati quindi non può essere considerato un difetto, mentre comunque rimane evidente l'ottima qualità costruttiva e progettazione, ad un prezzo comunque contenuto (intorno ai 15€ al momento dell'acquisto). L'unico consiglio che mi permetto di dare ai produttori è quello di cambiare il colore al CROSS SPEEDER per i motivi descritti sopra, magari invertendolo con i colori del FUN SPEEDER: essendo quest'ultimo progettato per le distanze brevi, è forse quello che risente di meno della 'mimetizzazione' con l'erba poichè è più facile vedere dove va a cadere, come ho potuto sperimentare personalmente.
