Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapter with Aperture Control, Pentax K Lens to Sony NEX E-Mount Camera

I use this to enable me to use my pentax wide angle and zoom lenses on my sony NEX vg10. it doesnt enable the autofocus using these lenses but give me great flexibility.

Does what it says on the tin. My old Pentax glass now works on my Sony E-mount. I've 3 favourite lenses that I've put to the test on it - infinity focus is always exactly where the lens says its going to be. As another review has noted, the release button is not the most intuitive part and even though I'd read his advice, I still panicked the first time when I attached a lens and thought it was stuck there forever. Once you've got the feel for it, it's a breeze and hurriedly switching lenses is no problem. It is comforting to feel that the adapter isn't suddenly going to let go of my lens. The camera side attachment is equally sturdy. It has been on and off the camera frequently and is never any trouble.

After trying a different one some months ago and it not fitting properly, I was very pleased with this one. It is of good quality and fits both lenses very well. Looking forward to using my old Pentax f/1.7 lens - it was an excellent lens.

Very well made and fits the lens perfectly. This adapter is used on Sony NEX-5N with a Pentax-M 50mm f/1.4 lens. The adapter includes an aperture control dial. At first, I didn't think this was useful but have enjoyed having it when using the lens for video. For photos, it's nice to use the aperture dial on the lens to know exactly what f-stop it is. However, I was having trouble with the adapter and the aperture. With the adapter, the lens could only be closed down to f/11. Luckily, I solved this problem. After mounting the adapter to the lens, I first set the adapter's aperture dial to wide open. Second, I closed down the lens to f/22. This makes it possible for the adapter to now close down to f/22. Not sure if this problem exists with other adapters, but this small workaround is not a deal breaker. Definitely recommend this Pentax K to NEX adapter, as there are some great Pentax lenses out there. And I was happy to pay more for this Fotodiox adapter just to know that it will be well made and keep my lens mounted safely on my camera.

This thing is so much more well made than I thought it would be! Cast aluminum body, and the aperture ring works great. I bought this for my Sony a6000 to put all my Pentax lenses on. The images are amazing. I'm very happy with this purchase! Shipped really fast, thanks Amazon!

Excelente calidad, el dial de apertura es necesario en algunos objetivos. Encaja perfecto en objetivo y camara.

Der Adapter funktioniert problemlos, um die alten Pentax Objektive meine Program A auf neue Sony Kameras zu adaptieren (a7 II). Der Adapter ist aus Metall und füllt sich gut verarbeitet an.

Descent build quality, but far from perfect : can't close more than f11 with any lens and the ring is too loose, you can easily change your aperture without noticing.
