Not half bad actually
I use the Freeloader mainly for charging my mobile, so only once every 3/4 days. For this the Freeloader is great, although during the winter when there were a few cloudy days in a row I had to dig out the phone charger again (one of the reasons I got the Supercharger).During summer, it's great, works well, just needs moving during the day round the garden as in shade the power drops dramatically. Using the 'old' version of the Freeloader battery (with the 3 LEDs), the middle one changes from green to red depending on how much charge it's getting.Haven't tried it in the winter months yet, but hopefully a few days of even cloudy weather should give a decent charge with the Supercharger.

Consider carefully
This is great for charging the freeloader charger only. It will not charge anything else directly because it is clear that freeloader have never heard of current, or do not understand how much current it takes to charge a phone. You need at least 500 milli amps to charge a device and this gives about 10 milliamps. which can only charge the freeloader. The green case for it reduces the panels performance slightly so don't use the case. Also do not use it behind a window because solar panels need as much uv light as possible. You are better off finding a 6v solar panel that can give out at least 500 milliamps and connect a mini usb cable onto that and you will be able to charge the freeloader or use the other panel to charge a device directly.

Poor connector
Bought this to go with my FreeLoader Pico Solar Charger hoping it will make a charging faster. Found it not remarkedly faster than before. The USB connection port on this item is so flimsy (see all the other reviews on Amazon). They have simply soldered a female USB port onto PCB circuit board with hardly any support. I simply gave up using the Freeloader but I wonder how longer that port would have stayed on if I had continued using this on a regular basis.

Broken connector on first outing
I bought this product for my boyfriend to use on a three week cycling trip. It seemed like the ideal product to attach to his pannier bags and soak up of the solar rays.Unfortunately the connector broke after a few days of use, and it only work when it is plugged into the freeloader and stationary, rather than why we bought it - to use whilst on the move.

I don't like it because it doesn't work with any of my tech. Possibly this was noted in the very small print, but unless you want to charge batteries with it, I wouldn't buy this. It doesn't charge my (quite old) Blackberry, for example, nor my Ipad.
