As a massage therapist, you know a few absolutes about making sessions better /more special /more therapeutic, having hot towels on hand is one of those things . Its size makes it easier to pack and tote around for mobile massage . I agree with others who say you need to wet or dampen the towels first because if you just add a dry towel , you will get a steamed towel and that’s it , it won’t actually serve its purpose. But this little thing DOES heat up fiercely and quickly . Naturally, there are options that would work better but I wanted to stay around this $35-40 price point so I’m getting what I paid for . The lid is wonky and can be a pain , so if you’re someone who’s on the OCD side , stay away from this one , because after the first use , the lid isn’t going to perfectly seal/match up. Me ? I can let it go ,because again, I paid $35’, what do I expect? Ha !If you’re just doing facials at home for fun , this is perfect.If your doing massages atHome , same thing .And if you’re like me and just starting professional mobile massage , still good for now until you can get your money up and get the “good ones “. Its color is adorable and its size highly portable . I recommend it but again, stay realistic in your expectations, considering the amount paid .

So I ended up using this item for the first time today, even though I purchased this item with gift cards from Christmas. I’ve wanted something like this for a very long time so when I finally opened up the container after I put it on the 10 minute timer, and the only thing that was wet was the lid. The Towels were not wet at all. When I bought this, I’m expecting wet towels, not towels that I take out and they aren’t even hot for more than five seconds. It was the weirdest thing. It was literally like taking something out of the oven that you’ve been baking for 10 minutes and it’s just Completely cold after just seconds of it being out of the oven. Now is this user error, it’s a pretty straightforward process so I would lean on no but I’ll just have to find a better alternative.
