Warning - Will rust in a humid (bathroom) environment.
I bought these lights for my new bathroom, had them professionally installed and placed one above my shower unit ( next to the extractor fan as you can see in the photo). They've rusted through within 12 months and now spoil my bathroom. Buyer beware, these are cheap lights that are not designed for humid environments (like a bathroom). I'm having mine removed and replaced with a better quality lights which is what I should have installed in the first place. I would recommend not to buy these lights for a bathroom.

My review after 3 years
I have just written a review on my first set of these lights... this is what I said on that other review:I have delayed reviewing this product until I felt I could comment after longer term installation and use.I purchased these in 2016 and they were installed a few weeks later during our bathroom refit. They were a doddle to install, and robust in their fitting in ceiling.I was worried that 5 watt bulbs wouldn’t be bright enough, but there are no issues - they are really bright, and provide a wide spread or beam of light. I have other makes of downlight, where the lights are more spotlight targeted..Almost 3 years since installation, they still look and work superbly: I purchased an extra set of bulbs from minisun, but didn’t need to! So far I have had absolutely no issues with the LED bulbs (also minisun)- no dimming of the LEDs over time, and none of the bulbs have failed. So, overall, these are excellent downlights and bulbs. So good that I have just purchased another set for my en-suite refit.

AVOID!!! - Design has changed - No cable strain relief on new design
I have installed 20 or so Mini Sun recessed down lights in my home some IP65 some not. They WERE great, five stars considering the price. Yes the connector block pops off but easily resolved with zip ties to provide a nice safe electrical installation with a PROPER SADDLE CLAMP for cable strain relief. Not any more! Just received some for a job - Some pencil neck muppet with a spread sheet has decided to save a fraction of a penny by changing the design of the connector block housing, removing the saddle clamp. The only strain relief now provided is via clamping on the wires themselves. Poor with a single cable entry, unsafe in my opinion with a double cable entry. Especially since these things are designed to be wired up then shoved through a small hole into the ceiling void. Correct strain relief is essential for a safe installation in my opinion. Not worth the risk to install for me anyway.... Going in the bin. 2 hours on a job wasted so I'm furious!

A shining example of good lights.
Fantastic lights, installed them over an afternoon in the bathroom. Being IP65 these are able to be used over the bath which makes for a greater flexibility of install.Hassle free packaging, installed with LED lights and fit perfectly. As they're 240V the install is as simple as they get, take down old light, run its cable into a junction box, run a cable out of the junction box to the first light, then from the first light to the second light, rinse and repeat.Been over the bath for a few months and look as spotless as they day they went up. If fitting it a loft space, remember to also purchase a light cover as you cannot put insulation on top of them.

Great fixtures that are simple to install
Bought a few of these for bathroom / ensuite. They're easy to install. I installed cool-white LEDs (bought elsewhere) and these units look great. Have had many showers and have no fear about the effects of steam / moisture for these lights. The little ring-clip holds the bulbs securely in place, and the outer cover requires a little bit of force to twist to come off / put back on. Not technically difficult - but might spin slightly when the unit is in place. The units are supplied with brackets to help mount - which will help secure the fixture in place making the twisting effort immaterial. Will be looking to get some more of these soon.

Hole liner would make this an excellent buy.
These are simple and excellent ceiling lights. Drill a hole through a plasterboard ceiling and pop them in. Spring clips hold them in place. The only reason I do not give them a 5 is the lack of a protective surround to line the ceiling hole. The springs abrade the plasterboard edge and make a mess of the hole if you need to change the bulb.

Good Quality But Fiddly to Install
The lights are made of good quality materials but could be designed better so they are much easier and quicker to install. The wire them up requires 7 screws to be undone and retightened - 3 for wires and 4 for the protective casing.

Relatively good
They look good, and I didn't have any problem with bulb fitment or wiring, my only issue has been the springs aren't always strong enough to pull the light hard in to the ceiling, so I've had to place blocks either side of the light under the spring to give it the extra force. For this reason I give 3 stars
