Polyform Metal Sculpey Hollow Bead Maker

I LOVE this. So much easier than searching around the house to find the right thing to give a nice rounded finish to my polymer clay items. Simple to use with clear instructions.

This product was delivered in good condition, I haven't had time to use it yet but have no reason to think it won't perform exactly as described.

Great tool for making hollow beads. A little pricey, considering it's a small piece of pressed metal, but does what it says on the tin.

Product arrived in good order from the USA. However, I also ordered some other Sculpey products which meant I had to pay Customs and PO handling fees, which came to more than £12 altogether; that, on top of the products' costs made it a pretty expensive order in the end. I think it had to do with the overall value of the package, so need to check that before you buy. AND I had to collect it from my local Royal Mail sorting office because fees payable. I have used the bead maker twice, hoping I'd find it easier to use with practice. The first time I used ALL available domes to make 5 whole beads. I found the spaces between the domes a bit narrow, trying to smooth the sides of one bead without messing up the side of the neighbouring bead, and ending up with quite thin bead-walls. The next time I used the bead maker I only made 3 beads - largest, middle one and the smallest one, which gave me all-round space with every bead: perfect! The fact that I've not been working with polymer clay for very long probably doesn't work in my favour. I had a bit of a problem getting some of the beads off the first time, but not the second time. Again, I'm sure an experienced clay-er will get perfect beads EVERY time. Fun gadget, worth getting.

Not quite sure what to do with this even with the videos on you tube. I assumed that the item had two plastic cones that allowed you to make what was on the picture. Ok the pros cheap the cons not sure of how to use it especially as per the picture of the bracelet on the packaging. I have knocked one star off purely because of this. Note not the sellers fault but not clear by scullery what to do with it. One video on YouTube is 45 minutes of total confusion as well as bad camera work. Almost like someone was doing a pan and tilt video from a remote location.
