I was really impressed with this set for the price. We collect Christmas gifts at work for local kids and with my gift tag, the child asked for an art set with paints, pencils, etc. I feel like this is a great choice as it comes with a variety of mediums as well as brushes, erasers, several pads of various paper and its all neatly arranged in a nice wooden box. I'm excited for him as it should give him hours of artistic creation. Granted at this price, the quality of the supplies is probably not the greatest but for young child, the variety allows them to go wild with their creativity until they find their medium and can move on to better materials. As a young artist years ago, I would have been thrilled to receive this as a gift and hopefully he will as well.

The box is good quality and it is exactly what the description says. I purchased the kit for a birthday gift for one of my bonus nieces and the expression on her face was the best gift I had seen in a long time. She loves it and she loves the variety of the art supplies. The quality of the wood box for organizing and storage was what made her most excited.

Bought this for my 6 year old grand daughter and we use it every time she comes over. Box seems a little fragile so we are very careful with it and have not had any issues as of yet. I only gave it 4 stars because the oil pastels that came with it seem to be just crayons. I thought she would be able to draw with them and blend with her fingers but they were just like the crayons. Other than that she loves it and there are so many options for projects!

This is a beautiful art set. Purchased for my 12 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loved it! It came in the lovely purple storage box. This set has a very nice variety of mediums especially the acrylic paint. This set includes all supplies you need to get started. Excellent value for the art lover!

This is not a beginner's box. This has a wide variety of art tools and that can overwhelm some kids. My preteens were so impressed and jealous. I had to buy one of them supplies to make it even and that wound up costing me more than this art box did.

I think this is an amazing art set. My daughter is in love with it. My only critique would be bottom drawer, when lying flat is tough to pull out however over all amazing !
