Fiskars PowerGear II Bypass Geared Lopper for Fresh Wood

The loppers are very light and the power gear system make them very powerful for the length of handle. The shorter handles mean you can get up close to where you're cutting. I used these first for cutting back a pyracantha which would have been a painful process with secateurs and a bow saw. I've also used them cutting back branches of fir trees. They slice easily through branches of 4cm thickness and save a lot of time over a bow saw. I wouldn't be without them now and highly recommend them. I like the look and feel of Fiskars products and now tend to choose them over other brands.

These are the best loppers I've ever used and I've used a few! These loppers are geared rather than ratcheted which enables to cut through sizeable branches including green ones as if you are cutting through butter! I wouldn't have believed how good they were until I used them for myself. It was a friend who recommended them and I can tell you they have revolutionised my gardening! They are also extremely light which means no aching arms after using them. I simply will not be without them now and am quite possessive of them!!

These loppers work well, applying considerable force and cutting through wood up to 2" thick. BUT, the blades dent easily and my show signs of wear after less than eight hours of use!! At £37, and already in need of sharpening, I would say they are expensive but they do work (which is more than can be said for the majority of loppers available on the market).

This was purchased to replace my old Wilkinson Sword pruners. The blade is sharp and cuts well. The handles feel sturdy. I have done a lot of heavy pruning and it works very well. The only drawback is that you need to open it very wide to hook the cutting head around a stem, and if the stem is in an awkward place, it is difficult to open the pruner enough. However, I cope with this by moving aside other branches. All in all, I can really recommend this product.

Light, simple, strong. Despite my best efforts I cannot break these! The handles maybe plastic but do not be fooled, this is proper well made indestructible plastic the likes of which you will never have seen before. Bought some as a present for my in laws they are that good. The orange part of the handles pop out occasionally but even that is so rare that I haven't bothered to glue them. Blade is sharp and takes all kinds of abuse. Dropped from tree tops, thrown across lawns, strong simple reliable and trustworthy. Worth every penny.

These loppers are brilliant, especially if your hands are not as strong as you'd wish. The gearing makes cutting so much easier and the fact that they are lighter than average means your hands don't tire so quickly. The blades are sharp and they bolt on so can be replaced in the future, if necessary. I borrowed my neighbours pair one day so I knew I was on to a winner when I bought my own.

Como todas las herramientas de esta marca, es genial! Con unos mangos tan pequeños se hace más fuerza que otras que tengo en casa más grandes. Cortan muy bien y se les puede pedir un poco más de lo que indican, eso sí, para uso en casa.

Fiskar Produkte sind einfach nur super verarbeitet und stabil. Ich sage meinen Bekannten immer das andere sind Geräte für Hobbygärtner und diese von Fiskars für Profis. ;-)

Ich habe heute die Fiskars an einem Haselnuss Strauch ausgiebig getestet.Die Astschere wird meinen Erwartungen gerecht.Ein ermüdungsfreies Arbeiten über einen längeren Zeitraum, obwohl sie 'nur' 50 cm lang ist.Auch Dank ihres geringen Gewichts sie Überkopf Schnitte leicht und sicher.Die Messer schneiden wie durch Butter. Empfehlenswert!

Hatte vorher mal eine fiskars L72 oder so, ganz und gar aus Metall und warbegeistert von der Robustheit, des leichten Gewichts und der Stärke beim Schnitt.Die gehörte einem Kumpel. nun habe ich mir die obige Plastikschere von Fiskarsgekauft aber noch nicht eingesetzt. Das soll ja irgendein besonderes Plastik sein,ich bin aber skeptisch. Ich werde sie jetzt im Januar mal richtig hernehmen, so wiedie andere, ältere, die das alles klaglos hinnahm. Wenn die Plastischere auseinanderfliegt, werde ich auf jeden Fall hier die Bewertung nochmal ändern, das ist sicher.
