The colors and coverage are amazing! Rich and vibrant. I can’t wait to start incorporating these into my work. The tin is adorable and while some have complained of the size, I think it’s great. It takes up very little space and holds 6 half pans. The price is great, averaging less than $2 a pan. I will probably be investing in some of the other colors soon.

This is my second purchase of this metallic watercolor set. I absolutely love it. The paints mix easily with water and produce a gorgeous, vibrant shimmer when applied to the. painting. Equally effective on unpainted paper and dried painted backgrounds and subjects. The paints come in a variety of color sets. Highly recommend.

It’s a nice little set, very compact. The color goes on smooth and it’s nice and shiny. But I got cheated out of almost half a pan of color on the bronze, the only one I’ve used so far. After I put some drops of water on it, it caved in and I discovered it was all hollow. I’m worried the gold in the lower left is also slightly hollow because it cracked when I pressed it into the metal tin using the included glue dots.

This paint set is very tiny ( only about 2" by 2 1/2") but holds six really nice pans of metallic paint. I only use tiny accents of metallic paint every so often so this little set works great for me. The paints are nicely made and have quite a bit of sparkle. I especially like the gold one! When dry they have a pretty glow but don't look as if glitter had been sprinkled on the painting. They have a more subtle metallic look. Note that the pans are not adhered to the tin when received which is nice because that let me arrange them in the way I prefer before I stuck them down with the included glue dots.

Great shimmery colors. Love to paint with them.

These looked great when they arrived. But when I used them I quickly realized these have almost no pigment in them. There’s a shimmer effect with the gold and silver colors, but the others just look like ugly shades of brown. With a sort of shimmer, but the tiny bit of pigment that is in these is also clumpy. So when you try to blend them out, they just smear. As if that wasn’t bad already, the ONE color that was usable at all- the gold- had a huge air bubble in the middle. So when I opened it they looked like full size pans. A little cracking on top of a couple of the colors, but nothing too concerning visually. But again, as soon as I started using the gold on an actual painting, it caved in and the air bubble that was trapped inside that pan collapsed. So there was hardly any actual paint in the pan. They don’t dry evenly or well. Streaky and inconsistent. Seriously do not waste your money. You’re paying for a cute black tin. That’s it.

Paints seem a bit dry, and as I use them, holes appear in each tray. They come with little sticky dots to be able to stick each color tray into the metal box, but I can't see any way that I could do that based on how tight they are in the box. This isn't a big deal, but the rays do move around when you're trying to load your brush. Otherwise, the colors are fine and the price is reasonable for the quality.

These work great. I feel like the amount in the half pans is a good value at under $10, even if there's a bubble, it comes with a tin. The swatch shows opacity on black Sakura ink and hot press paper.

Not as opaque as I would have liked. Provides sparkle but was looking for something richer in depth

I hope they are not. 3 golds Don’t need three. Not half pans. The seam to be exactly the same paint as the dollar store. I will return

My biggest issue is that the paint pots are hollow in the middle so there is not a lot of product inside. After a few uses I’m almost through one of the colours. This is made worse by the fact that the paint is not very pigmented and you need a lot of product to have any level of saturation. I understand it’s watercolor but it is poor quality.
