Bought these as a gift but I have half a dozen. They are easy to store, protect surfaces from heat and because they are square they can be laid together for larger pans. I also use them on trays to stop plates from sliding around, and between stacked pans to protect non=stick surfaces.

I've been looking for these for so long! I had a set previously but eventually the hanging holes broke because I put them on a hook while travelling in my RV. These are slightly larger than the ones I've had before, but they are still superb to protect worktops, as an anti slip mat on a tray when you're eating, or even to protect your hands when picking up a hot pan or casserole dish. Unlike the hideous waffle-type replacement I had for a while, which got very dirty and stained because it was difficult to clean, these are smooth and wipe clean easily.

I ordered one of these after using one in our holiday cottage. We have wooden countertops and needed something thin but strong to protect it. I stand mugs of tea on it etc. perfect if a little overpriced. Lots of colours available. Will buy again.
