Great way to experience VR for cheap!
I grabbed this headset when it was on sale for £5.99. I wanted to experience VR for the first time and I was not let down. When it arrived (promptly and well packaged) I booted up the Google cardboard app and played some demos. VR is certainly a funny experience and it was fun for the time that I used it. It comes with a headstrap which is really useful. However, it is unfortunately not adjustable and can sometimes slip off. There is a small nose piece (refer to pictures) that is useful for stopping your nose from aching. The distance isn't ideal and sometimes the image quality from your phone can vary (This was down to the lenses & the distance of my phone and not my 1440p display). You get what you pay for and £5.99 is a small price to pay for this neat little product.Overall I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a cheap way to experience VR for the first time.

An Inexpensive Way to Experience VR
This was my first experience with Google Cardboard and VR. I wanted to see what it was like and this was a really inexpensive way to experience VR.The headset is made of cardboard (obviously) and you can see the difference from version 1. It has a better, more comfortable shape and an included head strap. I was using it with the OnePlus 2 64 GB UK SIM-Free Smartphone - Sandstone Black and the phone fitted okay but needed to be re-positioned a lot when using the headset. The lenses are of acceptable quality however there is a lot of distortion at the edges of the lens - causing eye fatigue. The headset is comfortable but wouldn't recommend using it for long as your phone inside will heat up quite a lot. This is a cheap way to experience VR without the massive investment and works with most Android phones but I wouldn't recommend it for long term use. The lenses aren't good enough for prolonged use.

Viroba Google Cardboard V2 3D
I purchased this in a moment of curiousity following a tech program on TV.There are a few things to take into consideration:The very low cost - although surprisingly good value for money and most importantly it works well, the lenses are not great quality and distort quite heavily towards the edges. Also they are fixed and so spectacle wearers may struggle, i was able to wear mine inside the unit, but it is not very satisfactory or comfortable. The quality of image - the effect is very dependant on the quality of the screen on your phone. Although my note 4 looks retina at arms length the story is different from one inch! Still adequate but pixels are clearly visible.Availablity of compatable video - there is still a relatively small number of quality, fully 360 3D media available even from youtube, not all VR labeled media works but the potential is there.Construction - overall construction is surprisingly good but remember it is still cardboard you my want a hot glue gun to make things more rigid.Be prpared to be the laughing stock of you family BTW.Overall: money well spent to experience vr as it is available today, i would recomend to others certainly at this price would i upgrade to a better one now i have seen google cardboard - not yet media not ready yet unless you are going for a gaming system.

Less than a fiver? Bargain!
I've had a few cardboards, and this one is by far the best out together. It's the new design, which doesn't need NFC or magnets which, believe me, is what you want. Neither of those 'features' came to anything. This one can be controlled by your phone's camera button. It also folds back into the state you got it in for safety and storage, which is a nice bonus. The head strap might be a little tight for some, but your milage may vary. It IS made of cardboard, and it IS only a fiver, so you shouldn't feel precious about modifying it, if you need to.It also includes a QR sticker - take a photo of this through the Google Cardboard app and it sets itself up, perfectly. All in all, a fiver for a talking point like this is well worth it. Just don't show it to the kids, you'll never get your phone back!

Good demonstration, but frustrating overall
Cheap and gives a good idea of what vr is like, but design flaws make using this device frustrating. As mentioned in another review, the glue that sticks the Velcro pad to the cardboard is very weak. Nothing ruins immersion more than your headset flying off your head because the strap has disconnected. Mine broke within 5 minutes. Super glue did not fix it.Fun to try, but not a permanent vr solution.

So blurry its unusable
Very blurry. Unable to even read text on screen when using it so cant make informed selection of what to try look at. Very painful on the nose too so would not suggest using this for more than a minute or two at a time even if you can get around the focus issues.Update:So far I have had the seller contact me twice about this review. They seem to be under the impression that because they processed a refund that the negative review should for some reason be removed. I wonder how many other bad reviews they have managed to have taken down by begging people. To the seller: kindly stop bugging me about this. The facts remain, the product is useless, and this has nothing to do with the refund.

A good cheap introduction to Google Cardboard and VR
Tried one of these headsets at work and was so impressed ordered one the same day from Amazon. As its made from cardboard you may think it's flimsy or of poor quality but it's quite thick cardboard, very sturdy and the Velcro is holding up very well despite repeated use. I've used the headset with a Motorola Moto G 4G (dimensions 1.2 x 6.6 x 13 cm) which fits perfectly.

Okay product, for the price
The lenses on this product were not adjustable, this lead to it being quite lacking in the ease of use department as I would've had to cut into the product and make DIY adjustments to get it to work, all due to it not being adjustable. The product was not very comfortable either. However, it was very compact, easy to assemble and featured some basic means of interacting with the device; something other products do not do at this price point.
