I love these gloves! They work for their intended purpose (handling hot things with your hands), but I use them for so much more! They’re thick, so I used them to hang decorations from a prickly pine tree (they protected me from the needles), and I also use them to clean! Because they’re thick and stretchy, they cling to your hands and protect your hands from harsh chemicals and dirty toilets. They’re mostly for dealing with hot things, but their strength and durability mean I use them whenever I need to protect my hands. I’ll definitely buy them again when I run out. Also, they don’t smell like anything, which is a plus when dealing with food.

I purchased these gloves when I knew I was going to be doing a lot of smoking and grilling. I never used gloves or liners previously, but I had experienced the mess and dropped meat when I tried to either turn or pick up a brisket or rack of ribs using a set of tongs or a meat fork. Plus, I hated cleaning up the grill afterwards because I knew my hands would be covered in grease and charcoal residue. This was a new experience and I wanted to give it a try as an alternative to my prior mishaps and mistakes. Let me say this was a revelation for me. The liners work great under the gloves in giving me the flexibility and protection to safely handle hot cooking cuts of meat. The ease of being able to quickly flip, turn, baste without being concerned with getting burned is awesome. When I go to do cleanup, I just use the gloves without the liners to keep my hands clean. I cannot imagine going back to having to scrub the grill residue off my hands and fingers after a cook. With fifty pairs of the gloves, these will last me a long time as I typically use one pair per cook and clean. There are a lot of different options available that may work as well, but I can tell you that I highly recommend this specific product.

So I grabbed these barbecue gloves — 4 cotton liners and 100 black nitrile gloves — expecting maybe a lukewarm “meh.” Instead I got a surprise side of “how did I cook without these?” 👍 What works: Slip on the cotton liner, then the nitrile glove — and suddenly you can handle hot grills, searing steak, or razor-sharp knives without feeling like you just grabbed a block of burning iron. The nitrile gives serious grip (bye-bye slipping sausages), and the liner keeps your hands comfy instead of sweaty or slimy. 🔥 Real-world win: Fired up the smoker, fumbled with a cast-iron pan, flipped ribs — and at no point did I panic about dropping hot meat onto my foot. Easy cleanup, too: toss the nitrile gloves and throw the liners in the wash. 😄 If there’s a catch: These gloves don’t make you invincible — I still didn’t try lifting the grill lid with bare hands — but they get close. Also, if you like that “bare-handed BBQ finesse,” this might feel a little overkill. Bottom line: If you grill, cook, or tinker with hot stuff even semi-regularly, these gloves feel like a safety upgrade that’s also pretty darn satisfying. Worth it.

This is the second time I purchased these te gloves never tear when putting them on and the handle hot smoked food great made a Brisket Saturday and the gloves just made handling the brisket easier.

Have bought multiple times. Get the larger sizes for ease of use. This is the combination you want if you're looking to do away with the "silicone" hot gloves that are clumsy and floppy. Grab briskets and ribs out of the smoker with ease. Shred Pork Butts without melting your fingers.
