I would like the manufacturer to give a detailed explanation of the difference between Epigen and epigen 90. Epigen 90 costs twice as much.

Hello, Thank you for your question. Epigen 90 contains higher meat content than Epigen, thus the difference in price. We hope you find this information helpful. Sincerely, Wysong

What is in protein isolate? Is it synthetic?

If you reach out to Wysong directly they will answer any and all questions you may have about their products.

Description says this cat food is made in China , is that true ??

Good day, Thank you for your interest and questions. We are a U.S. brand and our products are Made in the U.S.A., not China. This is an error that has occurred with a few of our Amazon product listings recently. We are attempting to correct the issue with Amazon. Epigen 90™ does indeed have more meat content than the original version. Meat is not the only contributor of protein to these diets. We do not agree that the “first ingredient” defines the relative value of a food. If you have any further questions, or would like to discuss these points in more detail, please feel free to reach out to Wysong direct via our website. Thank you, Wysong

Both the Epigen bags are listed as having exactly the same percentages of protein and fat (60% and 15% respectively) so why the claim of "more meat"

Because both have the same protein content but one has the added protein coming directly from animal (meat) protein , vs plant based ( 1 pt legumes to 2 pt seed ratio) ..
