How to engage in productive conversations with those who challenge your Christian convictions. Gregory Koukl's best-selling book of practical apologetics, Tactics , wrote the game plan for discussing your Christian convictions with skeptics. In this follow-up, Koukl—a leader of clear-thinking Christianity—reveals the fundamental flaws in common, current challenges to Christian beliefs and values and provides step-by-step strategies to question and reveal those shortcomings. Street Smarts offers model questions and sample dialogues to help guide believers in persuasive conversations about hot-button issues like: Relativism The trustworthiness of Scripture The claims of the Gospel Abortion Marriage, sex, and gender This book will teach you how to tackle those discussions that believers often avoid because they feel out of their element, vulnerable, or exposed. Lucid, well-organized, and easy-to-follow, Street Smarts provides a specific set of questions—the same questions Koukl uses in his own encounters—that are embedded in sample mini-dialogues that you can use to have fruitful debates with non-believers. Review: Amazing! - Very insightful. The author gives a plethora of information on tactical approaches to apologetics encounters. I recommend to anyone looking to engage in street apologetics. Review: Interesting and helpful - This is an Interesting book that really makes you think.

Easy to follow and very practical. Koukl’s approach is clear, conversational, and helpful, especially for those who want to engage tough questions without feeling overwhelmed. The book provides a great framework for thinking and responding thoughtfully, emphasizing the value of asking good questions rather than rushing to give answers. It’s a solid resource for anyone wanting to grow in confidence and clarity when discussing their faith. A very useful and accessible apologetics book.

Practical and thoughtful, but could be deeper in places
This book is a helpful resource for engaging with challenging questions about Christianity. The author addresses real-life doubts and objections in a clear and accessible way, making it easy to follow and apply. The conversational style makes it feel like a friendly guide rather than a textbook. I appreciated the practical advice and grounding in Scripture. However, some answers could have gone a bit deeper or explored alternative perspectives more thoroughly. Still, it’s a very useful read for anyone wanting to think critically and confidently about their faith. Overall, solid, approachable, and informative.

Practical and applicable
Street Smarts by Greg Koukl is a practical and applicable guide for Christians navigating tough conversations about their faith. A follow-up to his bestseller Tactics, this book highlights the flaws in common objections to Christianity and offers strategies to address them through model questions and sample dialogues. Koukl emphasizes the difference between “gardening” (sowing seeds of thought) and “harvesting” (reaping conversions) in evangelism, focusing on how to have meaningful, non-confrontational discussions with non-believers. Each chapter tackles specific challenges Christians face, showing how to expose the weaknesses in opposing arguments while maintaining a genial tone. With clear instructions and user-friendly tools, Street Smarts equips readers to confidently defend their beliefs and engage in thoughtful, persuasive conversations.

Un libro muy bueno, enseña exactamente lo que promete.
Mi problema no es con el Libro en sí, sino con el proceso de envio porque la pasta llegó doblada por la mitad y ya no es comodo de sostener al leerlo.

If you're serious about sharing your Christian faith, read this book.
I listened to the audiobook first. It was so good, I bought the book! Solid and clearly written insight into western culture with practical, easily-learned ways to engage the cultural norms that run against a Biblical Christian worldview. If you're serious about sharing your faith, read this book.

Very practical approach to sharing biblical values
Although not essential, this book builds on Greg's previous book 'Tactics'. It's an easy read and very practical once you get the simple idea of asking questions. It focuses on some ideas to biblically respond to common questions and objections to the Christian faith.
