PUR GumXXL 30 Pieces (Pack of 1)

Did you ever take Flintstones Vitamins? That’s the vibe here, even down to the weird chalky citric acid flavor profile. The aroma of the bag evokes Runts candy—which I was expecting given the flavors—but the experience of chewing a whole piece of any flavor is an incredibly large wad of vitamin.One piece of XXL is equivalent to chewing about three pieces of standard Pur. The texture is also different. I prefer to cut these pieces in half, which does not affect the texture of the piece that I chew later. When I started doing this, I decided to raise my initial rating from three stars to four stars.I like subtly fruity gum. I recently discovered that “bubble gum” flavor—including Pur’s bubble gum—is usually strawberry-banana. Mind blown. That flavor and chocolate mint are my favorite standard Pur flavors. If you like subtle strawberry and banana fruit notes without citric acid overtones, go with Pur bubble gum. If you want more intense, albeit shortlived, fruit flavors, try these.The orange flavor is the best of the the three, to my mind, which is strange because I never like orange flavoring. I think this one works because the chalky/citric note makes the most sense with a citrus flavor.I like banana flavoring much more than orange most of the time, but it is not as good here. This is partly because of that citric note, and partly because banana pieces lose flavor almost immediately.Strawberry is my least favorite flavor in the bag, but I don’t like any strawberry flavoring other than the subtle notes in bubble gum and maybe strawberry Quik, which I haven’t had in 20 years.At first I was never going to get this version of Pur again, but this gum has kind of grown on me. Now it’s out of stock for a month, so I’m going back to Pur bubble gum.

Comes in a resealable bag. I love the big size of each piece. The yellow/banana flavor is especially tasty. However, the flavor of each piece is quite short lived (something to keep in mind if you typically spend hours chewing the same piece of gum). It doesn't bother me much as I mainly use the gum when I have dry mouth and do not chew it for long.

I love Pur gum and wanted to try the larger sizes and new flavors. I don't like the banana flavor, but the other two in this package are good. The larger size takes some getting used to. Compared to the prior tiny ones. I would order again, but avoid banana.

I like this gum. I have been enjoying it now for about 2 months or so. It has a good topical taste that lasts a long time. I plan to buy it again.

Not for people with smaller mouths, or children.
