Beautiful Large Coffee Table Beetle Book!
I've not read it thru yet; but a quick scan tells you this is a great coffee table book for VW lovers. With loads of great pictures and information it seems to be a gathering of all VW promotional material. From 1946-79 it covers the amazing Beetle; all iterations, the Bus, the Karmann, Type 3 & 4; which presumable becomes the amazingly popular Passat. These hugely popular cars were the platform for the modern VWs.

Will suit your coffee table.
Great addition to any VW buffs coffee table. As a US edition the accent is inevitably on US model specifications and prices etc. However this doesn't detract too much from the overall package which is beautifully presented.

Phenomenal Book on VW Beetles!!
Beautiful and just an overall phenomenal book. Tons of great information on the manufacturing evolution of Volkswagen Beetles thru the years from its very beginning to its end. Lists out notable changes year by year while providing great historical information with beautiful original advertisements, etc. If you already love VW Beetles or just getting into them and want to know more BUY THIS BOOK! (Along with "How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive" by John Muir). Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent publication
Excellent book, using quality paper and clear pictures, diagrams and illustrations. Covers all types of air cooled VWs. Coverage is at the comprehensive but basic level, suitable for those new to VW lore and as a coffee table book. As a Morris Nd Porsche enthusiast I bought this book to find out about VWs as I had not previously paid much attention to them. In this role it was perfect. It’s set out and design encourages the reader to keep returning to it to learn more and to just enjoy it.
