Delicious rock candies worked as a pseudo sea glass
We held a celebration of life and its theme was ocean/fishing as the deceased loved the ocean and loved fishing. The event was at a park along the beach so everything was sort of nautical. As a small "favor" and sweet, I used three different colors of rock candy to make small glass jars of "sea glass" for the attendees. They turned out super cute and were actually super tasty. The three flavors I purchased each had a distinct flavor... One was plain sugar (white), one was blue raspberry, and the other was like a cotton candy, it think? But they all tasted good together and they looked pretty. Had to warn people that they weren't bath salt since they looked like they could have been!

Meh. Wouldn't purchase again. Decent price for bulk rock candy, however flavor was lacking.. No one could taste a difference between the cotton candy flavor and the plain sugar flavor.
