I opened the package and wanted to test it with a short burst before graduation tomorrow... and the back part that is screwed on blew off it and the button shot up to the ceiling. I put it back together as quickly as possible hoping to save some of the gas, but to no avail. It kept steady leaking air and when I pressed the button, no sound came from it other than hissing.

Good product! It was shipped promptly and arrived undamaged. The horn is easy to use and very effective in grabbing attention as it is very loud.

This air horn is nice and small, perfect to keep on hand for emergencies. I’ll bring this when going mountain biking at night in case of mountain lion encounters. The main downside I see to this is that there’s no “lock” or way to make it so that the button can’t accidentally be pushed. That’s a bit concerning for bringing it places/packing it in a bag and having it unintentionally go off. Otherwise it’s very portable and convenient!

We are going camping this year and I thought this might be just the protection we need should some animal approach us at the campsite. Makes a very loud noise@!

Performed beyond my expectations! I feel safe walking alone at night now. These air horns were SO LOUD! I'm sure they could be heard a mile away. Word of caution: do NOT point these directly at someone's ears, as they could suffer hearing damage. These are personal protection devices...not a toy. They're no joke!
