Canac K9 Lites Safety Collar Medium / Large

Bought these as a reasonably priced punt as others I had viewed were ridiculously priced at £15-35!1st impression is they are good quality & solidly built with easy adjustment, a sturdy clip fastening & tough battery case (which seems to act as a counter weight to keep the lights in view on top).The lights only seem to have a flash setting but this only makes them more visible, they are set in to metal rings but as they flash they are super bright & as long as the dog is side on they can be seen from a very good distance. On the pavements under street lighting they remain a good additional visibility, but in unlit areas they really prove their worth,I have black cockers & whilst on a back road the other night a van passed me as one of my dogs ran out in to the road after jumping a wall & the driver spotted the dog! (I know he should have been under closer control, but sometimes!)(Also the driver commented on the collar asking where it was from?)All in all I'm very impressed for the price, it's nice to spot the dogs when out in the dark!

Collars are great I ordered two for my jack russel pups as they are both black and tan and not easy to spot in the dark. Both collars have worked fine and you can spot the dogs at a disstance as the led red lights are very bright and the flashing mode make them easy to spot. The only problem is when the dogs start to play they tend to switch the collars off as the switch is a bush button and they switch off quite easy as the switch has been used a number of times.The collars are great and when on work well. Wish the switch was a little stronger and did not switch off as easy as it does.Only problem is a number of other dog owners have seen my dogs waring the collar and felt that they were great as they can be seen at a distance in our large park. They have all gone to the site and purchased collars for their dogs and the park now has a number of dogs waring the same collars and all you see is the red flashing lights everywere which makes it difficult to spot my dogs.

Great collar I've always used this make for my dogs but this newer version has the ability to have two flashing speeds or remain constantly on. Fully adjustable. My only complaint was it wasn't working due to batteries being dud, I replaced both 2032's (extra cost) and it's working perfectly now and very brightly for these dark nights

I purchased this for my dog so we can see him in the dark absolutely nothing happening. I have gone to the expense of purchasing new batteries and still it is not working. it will be interesting if the company actually reply. will let you know the outcome.

Good product, works well in the dark as long as your dog does not have really long hair!Florescent collar also works well but flashing lights are easily seen from a distance

First one had been crushed before I received it. Replacement was sent out and this one worked. They are ok for use in the garden at night (to spot a black dog!), but quite stiff and starting to fray now along the edges (only used once a night for about 3 months). For the price it was ok though but I don't think I would buy the same again.

I have brought this for my two year old Tabbie,She loves going out in the dark for an hour or two at night,this is brilliant,i ordered the small and put it over the cat's normal collar for when she is playing outside in the dark. Its amazing!!! It flashes small bright red led lights and is set on yellow fluro fabric, now when im looking for her in the garden i can find her,not just for dogs..if you want you cat seen try this!! I brought the small and fiddled around until it fits perfectly,.Great buy, will now buy extra batteries incase they run out,Cat isnt happy now the mice can see her..but at least I can find her in the dark!!Buy it!!

Purchased 2 of these for my 9 month old Weimaraner bitches as we walk in the woods near our house at about 5am and in the winter it's pitch black. The collar is reflective when you shine a flash light at it and the red LED's are bright enough to be seen at 100 meters in the dark.The only problem I've had was on first use when all of sudden 1 of the collars brightness diminished by about 85% and I thought it was the batteries failing. The batteries are easy to remove with a 5 pence coin and it takes 2 CR2032 batteries; in my case though a quick test and clean corrected the brightness.Early days but very impressed so far and I've not tested the durability under foul weather yet.
