Duet Style 2-in-1 Hot Air Styler, White

So, yes the wieght gets to you, but its takes the place of using a blow dryer and a hot iron. If you want best results, go slow and more than a couple passes. However, I have bleached hair and its a bit damaged. When I used it wet it came out stiff so I used my rotating air brush to dry my hair, then the iron, and it came out perfect. So, if your hair is damaged/bleached severely I wouldn't recommend it, but my daughter LOVES it!

I was looking forward to this working but it takes a long time to dry your hair then you have to straighten it and leaves your hair full of frizz

Muy buen producto de calidad

If it was half of the price, it would be a perfect tool for me. My hair is quite fine and wavy, it takes a few passes to get it dry. It’s hard to go to the roots, that’s fine for me bc my roots are straight, but it can be an issue for someone with wavy roots. The hair feels soft and has a nice body, not that flat as with a flat iron (using the drying settings only) so I like that. Overall a great tool, but I returned it bc there is nothing that special that justifies spending $400 + taxes in this tool.

I use Japanese hair straightening and color. Hence I’m very concerned about damaging it further. I have used this blower/flat iron twice. Long term not sure if it will do damage however the results to date exceed my expectations! My hair looks like it has been professionally blown dry. An affect I have never been able to achieve on my own. The only criticism is that you can’t get very close to the roots. So if you have very curly roots you may need to use a small flat iron. Color me very satisfied!

I live this product! I bought it for a trip to the beach, since I had to wash my hair every day and get ready for dinner it was amazing, it save me a lot of time getting ready. I have really long hair and it takes me about 20-22 minutes to dry my hair.

I think the value of this depends on what type of hair you have. I have medium length, naturally straight hair. I normally use a straightener to curl my hair after it is dry in the morning. I thought I could use this to both dry and curl my hair at the same time, but it did not work out for me. I cannot use this to curl my hair like I can a normal straightener. I can get a tiny curve at the ends, but that’s it. It does work to dry my hair, but for my straight hair, I think a normal blow dryer is faster and just as effective. I’m sure this is a lifesaver for some people, but for me, it is not worth the money.

Perhaps I have the wrong hair for this product, but it definitely was a fail for me. I have baby fine hair and so getting it properly into the wide clamps was an effort, and while it did dry quickly it left my hair with no body. Perhaps with thicker hair with some body it would work better. For me, using a hair dryer brush leaves my hair with much more body and smoother than this. The shine shot mode did not leave my hair as silky/shiny as my existing flat iron, and my hair actually looked healthier with it than this. Also it's heavy and clunky to use. I tried it a second time to see if it was just my inexperience but my hair still looked dead and lifeless so I returned it.

Absolute life saver for postpartum hair loss! I have been able to keep my hair smooth, styled and silky while my hormones balance out after having a baby. Couldn’t be happier with this product!

Wow straightening my hair just became so easy. I have just past the shoulder length curly frizzy hair. Wash spirits with GHD heat protection and 20 mins later perfect straight hair with volume, no frizz and so soft. Hair doesn't get too hot and no crispy hair smell. So easy to use, not heavy or noisy. Just take sections of hair like when I straighten, 3 to 4 glides down then move on. Finish off with shine shot. Hair isn't flat like it is with normal irons. Easy to dry roots and get the baby hair too. Lasts till next wash 3/4 days. Even able to create waves on my bangs. Can't fault them. Yes they are expensive but I was able to pay over 5 months interest free so win win. I can't recommend them enough. Super quick delivery too.

Suprised with result. Smooth and shiny. A little noisy and heavy to hold. Did what was needed and beyond what was expected. No frizz, soft straight and shiny

Merci GHD 🥰

After months of consistent use, here’s what I thought about this GHD duet styler. For reference, my hair is thick and wavy. I always use heat protection and leave in conditioner before I do anything to my hair. The instructions said you can use it directly from a towel dried hair, so I did dry and style my hair as usual. On my 3rd week of using it, little did I know I was slowly frying my hair while drying it that a chunk literally fell off. (I also noticed that I have a lot more hair fall out vs when I use just a regular hair straightener.) Luckily it’s at the back and I can hide it. I stopped using it after that, and did some more research. According to one of the reviews I saw, you are suppose to still blow dry your hair to about 50% dampness. I feel like it defeats the idea of getting this tool being a 2-in-1, but it is what it is. Just annoyed that I’ve been styling my hair for over 20 years and this is the first time this has happened to me. Now I’m stuck with another tool I will barely use, plus the uneven hair- yes, I’m still letting it grow : / — Other problems I have noticed is the fluctuation in temperature of the hair dryer. When I first got this it was really hot, months later it’s not.
