I use these along with the dial gage setting tool for accurate results.These are typical great quality I expect from Sommerfield.He has great videos also.

Overall this system is fantastic. Bought it and used it to build a bathroom vanity. First time doing so and only took 5 days. Next house I will build my entire kitchen cabinet set using this technique.Pros: This system with tongue and groove is great and produced nearly perfect fit. Super strong joints. Tons of applications that this can be used on beyond cabinets. Height match bits they produce are fantastic. Cuts incredibly well.Cons: I had to add an additional gromet in the collet to prevent one of the two bits from hitting collet before bottoming out (critical for height match use). Would like to have some instructions that ship with bit set (instead I kept playing he youtube videos from Sommerfeld to figure it out). You really need to use the set up jig to get the accuracy quickly.

I really liked the idea of the matched set, very nice to not have to adjust height setting. Good quality, sharp and well made.

You most likely came for these bits via the Sommerfeld youtube videos. I know I did. The videos show a great system for cabinet building that is both simple and beautiful. These bits do not disappoint. The matched height makes sure everything lines up so nicely. By building my own bathroom and kitchen cabinets (which I am in the process of doing) I have not only saved a ton of money but the pride of having done it myself is really cool. Plus, I know the cabinets are well built with good materials. No particle board in my cabinets! Thanks Mr. Sommerfeld.

Extremely well built and designed. Worked extremely well, not resetting bit height once at least one is set, great storage box.

Just finishing my first cabinet being built with this tongue and groove set. These router bits make it so easy and perfect alignment and fitting. I did buy the ez set to set the bit to correct height. Makes it right height the first time. Once height set it's set for all the bits. Changing bits is so easy. Just drop them in.

Marc Sommerfeld has apparently teamed with one or more router bit manufacturers to produce several sets of router bits that work together as a system. In particular, the length of the shanks are accurately machined so that when placed in the router in a router table the cuts are at a specific height in the wood. That ensures that you can quickly change from one bit to another, such as from a groove bit to a tongue bit, and you do not have to reset the depth of the router bit. The pieces of wood will fit flush, with little to no sanding required. Cabinets and other wood products can be built better and faster, with few if any mistakes.

There are a bunch of washers and small things in a few plastic flapped pouches. The bottom was ripped and came apart at the seam before touching or opening it. As a result, I assume half of them are gone. I won't know because there is ZERO documentation. I like the idea of the nice hardwood case with the magnets but these little washers and spacers prevent it from closing unless you position it just right. A little more thought.I wish I knew what they were for...?As for the quality of the router bits, have not tested yet because I have to take the time to find out how to set them up and what all the little parts are for. Seriously, is there no after thought for the people that use these?
