Absolutely lovely scent. I'm still smelling the opening and getting into the heart, but my first impression is that it's a fantastic formulation. It's just the right amount of a warm spice. Maybe clove or black licorice? The spiciness takes a backseat to the non descript fruit note. Not citrus, not apple. Maybe plum or fig? Bergamot and orange are listed as top notes, but it's not citrus or sharp at all. It's warm and cozy. 30 minutes in and the spiced fruit is still there, while I can detect a sweet coffee making an appearance. Again, not overly sweet, but not black or harsh at all. I'm also picking up a bit of earthiness from the patchouli. Boozy is definitely an accurate description of the heart notes. Like a spiced rum or cognac, but it's all very well balanced and none of the notes overpower the other. As I said, it's a warm, cozy vibe. Like if your grandfather was a businessman, and you were having a glass of spiced liquor with him in his study. The study is full of hardwoods that have been seasoned by decades of entertaining guests. Drinking fine fruity brandies, spiced cocktails and coffee, while smoking expensive cigars. I'm not getting any smoke, but to my novice nose, I get the impression of tobacco leaf. Very impressed. Great fall and winter fragrance, and an unbelievable value.

I have a spectrum of Angel fragrances... There are two that smell more like Mugler Angel and two that, I've read, lean more to the masculine side. I never smelled A-man, but i can see why people go nuts for the line. I have a love-hate relationship with Angel. My mom wore it, and at the time I thought she was crazy for doing so. I'm kind of obsessed with Angel now, but I still can't decide if i really like it all that much. I keep smelling it because doing so brings a sort of confusion I don't normally experience. Fortunately for this review, the masculine line must have been god-tier. Star Man Nebula is sort of reconstruction of Pure Malt, A-Men's boozier counterpart. Plenty of dark, whiskey notes here. I smell dark cedar-y notes, like the inside of my humidor. Cigars in a humidor can really smell earthy and there's clearly patchouli here giving some of those earthy notes. The trick with Angel is that the patchouli actually smells quite like chocolate and there may be that same trick here.. Coffee.. Basically, this bottle smells like my kitchen after a long night. So good. I don't know how anyone, male or female, wouldn't find this appealing. Bear in mind, I never got my nose on any of the A-men line. But I will wear this again and again. Sillage is okay. Longevity is moderate at best.. Not really a top performer in this regard, but the price makes that acceptible. Within 3 or so hours it is really a skin-scent. That said, i still think this is a no-brainer night out fragrance. I could see this sitting next to a bottle of Versace L'Homme or Azzaro Pour Homme and that person would have all they need for 50 bucks. It's really amazing what 20 bucks can get you these days.

I was thinking about how to describe those scent , but is such a beautiful fragrance that mixes elegant notes all l have say is that lm excited l got it ! Imagine a scent that combines tobacco, vanilla, amber, patchouli and has an intensity that makes you think you are inside a bubble ! I love it

The perfume smells really good! This is the second time I’ve bought it for my dad, and he loves it.

The key takeaway is that this current version is a generic tobacco/amber/dark vanilla scent that is a mature, masculine, evening, winter scent, must buy at this price if that pleases you. If it works for you then you will be happy with the value, hard to not give it a shot if the tobacco/woody/vanilla clones all work great on you!! I would have liked to smell some of the older version of this that may have gotten closer to Pure Malt. However, I no longer have that either to do a direct comparison so I am going off of memory. For me it is in the park of trying to hit at a generic Tom Ford Tabacco take, not the actual Tom Ford version... the already discount store version. Not bad at all if that scent is great on you, then you likely will like this one too. I'm just not smelling any of the boozey malt coming through on this version that I remember, but the tobacco comes through and stays for a good 4 hours.

This is a boozy malty fragrance, a very nice addition to my collection (56) and counting. It's a Fall to winter fragrance for everyday use. The bozziness isn't sweet more like whiskey boozy and malty

Pretende ser una copia de Amen Pure Malt de Mugler, que fue retirado del mercado hace unos años. Cuando lo hueles al principio se parece, pero luego te das cuenta de que es una copia sintética que no tiene el cuerpo y la calidad del original. Es de agradecer que alguien haya querido recrearlo, porque era para mi gusto, el mejor perfume de Mugler y ha dejado un vacío muy grande en el mercado. Pero esta copia lamentablemente no da la talla. Seguiré recreando en mi recuerdo el olor del original. En fin, me arrepiento un poco de haberlo comprado, pero había que intentarlo.

I just got this and tried have my genuine vintage Thierry Mugler pure malt one arm and the fragrance world nebula on the other arm ...The initial alcohol burst upon spraying on the nebula starts to disappear straight away and let's the pure malt vibe come through....The nebula punches light years above it's price tag....It settles down to a very pleasant aroma...It's got the smooth whisky, the coffee and some nice vanilla ...It's almost like a nicely baked cake with hints of dates and sweetness ..Pure Malt itself has a strong prominent note that stays through until the far dry down ..and that's not for everyone ..Nebula is on the same track but that strong pronounced note is toned down and blended into the sweetness, which makes it more mass appealing and more versatile to wear in most scenarios....The nebula is very well crafted and blended, which makes it classy and inviting ..It could sell for much more and still be a great fragrance...At the price it is now, I think it is well worth buying a few bottles and stocking up before it possibly disappears...Would I recommend it...100%.. Absolute..
