Perfect Baster, would be improved with a sight glass insert to see how much liquid has been drawn up but apart from that works really well, much more durable than the plastic ones and will last a lot longer, the additional nozzles are great for basting under the skin of poultry.

Solid piece of kit, looks like could do serious damage. The injector add-ons are a great addition.

Worth paying the extra for this over a cheap one!

The cleaning brush was missing, so unfortunately I dont feel fully satisfied, otherwise the product is very good.

Best Utensils Stainless Steel Turkey Baster First impressions of this baster were that it was a quality well built item, just what I had been hoping for. It looked great with it's strong brushed stainless steel body, large soft but strong silicone rubber bulb, along with it's own screw in marinade needle, which again is made from high quality stainless steel. The marinade needle has a small silicone rubber o-ring around the thread to help create a perfect seal. There is also a deep grove around the body of the baster where the rubber bulb fits over the tube to help keep the bulb in place whilst in use. Initially I was impressed and very pleased with my purchase. The above attention to details are the type of things I look for when purchasing a new product. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into the basters design - Great design with quality materials usually make for a great product. Sadly though, for me there were one or two drawbacks - Being made from stainless steel, whilst basting, the metal body of the baster becomes extremely hot. I have a habit of sucking out all of the fat from a roast near the end of cooking time to help allow as much fat as possible to exit the cooked meat. After a while the baster becomes too hot to hold so I end up holding the baster by it's rubber bulb alone, which then leads onto a second issue I had. This issue is that the bulb easily slips off of the baster tube, several times this has happened spilling hot fat and juices over the worktop. I have since had this baster refunded due to the above issues. The rubber bulb seemed to be a little loose where it slid over the tube, maybe a little more rubber at this point or a smaller hole will cure this? It may well be that I received a faulty item so please don't let my comments put you off as this really is a quality item. In fairness, this is a well made product built from quality materials. I feel if I hadn't had the above problems this may well have given me many years of service. I may have just been unlucky with the baster I received? One other thing worth a mention is that you do need to take care when screwing in the marinade needle, the needle has a fairly course thread so screw it in gently so as not to get it cross threaded which may strip the thread. J’ai acheté cette poire à jus avec injecteur de marinade et j’en suis très satisfaite. Les matériaux sont de très bonne qualité : l’acier inoxydable est solide et le caoutchouc alimentaire est épais, souple et agréable à utiliser. Elle permet d’arroser facilement les viandes pendant la cuisson ou d’injecter des marinades pour des plats bien plus savoureux. L’aspiration est efficace et précise. La brosse fournie est un vrai plus, le nettoyage est simple et rapide, sans résidus. C’est un ustensile pratique, robuste et bien pensé, parfait pour les amateurs de cuisine maison. Excellent accessoire, efficace et durable. Je recommande sans hésiter.
