Maxed Steel is a fitting end to this 2nd Generation of Steel even if we don't won't the series to end.Max Steel is a great mix of Jase and Carly he has the swagger and charm of his Dad and a heart as big as his moms. Max has returned after 2 years of traveling and being a pro surfer to attend JU to continue his education a promise he made his parents but little does Max know that his past us about to catch up with him.Mila Miller will stop at nothing to keep her family safe and provided for, she's the queen of couponing and helping others but when a blast from her past reappears will she learn to accept help or will she fight the help being offered in the form of one sexy man.Another fantastic read 5 stars all the way 💖

Last of the second generation books. Max’s story and less angst and bitterness and more positive. Loved it and a great way to finish this section of the family romances.

Baby max is all grown up and ready for babies of his own, it’s making me feel old.This is the final book in the 2nd generation Steel, if you haven’t read any of the other books I would recommend doing so as they’re all great reads and the Steels are one BIG family tree to try and get your head around.I liked max, you could tell he’d grown up compared to his appearances in some of the earlier books.He wasn’t the player I was expecting and had his eye on the prize, which for him was a love like his parents and a girl as fantastic as his Mom, you couldn’t not love a mommy’s boy as fierce as he is.I’m not sure Mila could really hate anyone but she doesn’t give in to Max’s apologies instantly and their quick banter responses to each other are fun.As always I loved the huge family gatherings and loyalty they share, and all the cute littles.If there’s ever a 3rd gen series comes out I’m sure they’ll be just as fierce as their parents.A great read

This was easily one of my most favourite reads from the second generation of Steels and it finished the series on a high. I absolutely flew through this book and couldn’t put it down. I loved the characters and storyline. It was definitely less angry than some of the other books in the series but I actually liked that. I would have loved Max and Mila to have had a few more chapters where we get to see them together as a couple but all in an all a really enjoyable read.

Mila was a strong, level-headed, and compassionate woman. Max was a confident, sexy, and charming man. Together these two were great to read about. I loved them together and Max’s pursuit of Mila from the moment he realised who she was. Their story was really enjoyable and I couldn’t put this book down.

This is such a brilliant emotional read.Max lifed his life on the surfer circuit for 2 years and ended on a high but now he is honouring his promise to his parents and getting a college education. On his first day he sees the woman he has never forgotten.Can he make it up to Mila Miller about how he ghosted her when he was going through something really bad.Mila is trying to keep her and her families heads above water while attending college so when the only man she has loved turns up on campus she tries to ignore him.Could they get their second chance when she is keeping a big secret.An absolute must read that you will love.I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
