Good product but expensive especially as u only get half a tub of very thin wipes,I feel short changed! I buy just the powder normally as I found over the years Optrex works just as well as the boric acid in it (not harmful) works well, safe and alot cheaper. I love the powder but you have to be careful when u open to use it as it goes everywhere which is wasteful. Works best once eyes are dry I use a tiny natural make up brush to apply.

Buy this immediately if your pet has tear stains, got my pup 2 years ago and he had tear stains from day 1. My previous Shih Tzu never suffered with tear stains so I was new to this. For 2 years I tired every kind of wipes and solution that claimed to remove the stain but nothing worked his eyes always looked wet and running with a horrible red colour. I tried changing to stainless steel bowls, bottled water, nothing worked I have having to trim his eye fur every few days. I was browsing on Amazon and came across eye envy. 2 things put me off, the price and also because it was a powder. I had a look at the reviews and decided to give it a go 22/4/26. I cannot recommend this enough within 2 weeks the stain had grew out and I trimmed it away and you can see from the first 4 pictures how coopers eyes are now. I used this religiously every single morning on his eyes I am now doing every 2nd day. And eventually will do every 4th day. I have had this over 1 month and I still have solution and powder left however the pads have ran out but I just use cotton pads. I didn’t bother paying extra for the brush I just used a super soft make up brush and that works perfect for me. Cooper doesn’t bother at all once the powder has been applied doesn’t rub his eyes and no redness around his eyes there is no smell at all & it’s certainly better than some of the wet solutions on the market. Applying once a day is more than enough and his eyes are never wet First 4 pictures are now and the rest was his eyes before. Cannot recommend enough but cannot stress enough that you have to be consistent and do this daily until the stain is under control. Bit of a long review but wanting to give my best honest review as Ano when I was looking for something I scrolled through thousands of reviews.

I purchased this twice once in a kit and then the powder .I had high hopes for this product as i read reviews which sounded promising .Unfortunately it hasnt worked for me with my english bulldog .The powder masks the tear stains lje we use foundation then a couple of hours they are very visible again .The solution doesnt help remove the stains as there is nothing noticeable on the pads

I had tear stains to get rid of on my 2 pomeranians, it says to apply daily for a week then once a week for maintenance. My dogs had stains for months there was crusty build up that took many applications to get rid (especially near hair roots) I didn't want to scrub it too hard as it's still delicate eye area. So after applications powder helps stopping build up as it repels tears so they don't stain fur. After a week I didn't notice difference in hair discoloration but it stop new staining, but after good month or 2 fur now has original color without dark circles around eyes. It is lengthy process but stick to it, my dogs have now normal fur round the eyes and aren't tearing that much (not sure whether that's down to treatment or not). I bought little bottle of stain treatment, powder and there were pads with it. Pads won't last long but I use cotton pads now, after few months I used 2/3rds of the bottle but i have still loads of powder, I apply just under fingernail amount of powder on each eye so it will last forever I guess.

Great product

Dogs eyes are slowly improving. Not sure why this says starter 4-6 wk kit . We've had it a few mths now and still have 75% of the product left. Its lasting us alot longer than it states and were using the recommended amount. Good value for money and works albeit slowly, would buy again.

…wirkt jedoch nicht bei der Beseitigung des Problems, sondern kaschiert es nur. Daher ist es möglicherweise für Hunde- und Katzenausstellungen geeignet, aber nicht zur Beseitigung eines medizinischen Sachverhaltes. Ich möchte es dennoch empfehlen wegen der leichten Handhabung.
