I am a 33-year-old female who is trying to become more active and I use these weights because My primary mode of exercise right now is walking. I was originally using 2.5 pound weights and realized it became like they weren’t even there. So I upgraded to these 5 pound weights (10lbs total) and I like them a lot, but they are bulky, obviously, and they are only secured with Velcro which so far (about one month of the daily wear) has not been an issue but I feel like if I were going to run in them that they may not be as secure, and fall/slide off. I also wish they came in black because when I wear them with leggings it is obvious that there is something around my ankle.

They're ankle weights, they strap-on well, but the zipper separated the second week I had them. Can't repair it, so if you want to use them anyway except with the opening up, the bags of sand will come out

I ordered the pink ones. They ARE NOT as pictured on amazon. They do not have a gray strip of velcro...see pictures. ..it's black. But the BIGGEST PROBLEM is that they do not close. The strap part will not attach to that black fabric at all. Comes right open. I'm going to see if I can see on some ACTUAL VELCRO. Since it is sand, I am hopeful thus will work because the sand will collect toward the strap and allow access to the black end. BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS. It should work as advertised, except it does not!AMMENDMENT : OKAY, I'm an idiot. To be fair, the packaging did not tell me to do this.....PULL OFF THE BLACK FABRIC TO REVEAL THE VELCRO BENEATH. And, voilá, it works!

I ordered them because I wanna train like goku that is all but if you're going to use them get wrist and ankle supports

I really like these. I use them while doing aerobics. They are nicely cushioned. I only wish I could adjust them smaller. My wrists are small enough that the weights move around. I wear wrist bands underneath the weights to minimize movement but they still shift a little. This shouldn’t be a problem if you are just wearing them while walking or jogging. But if you need to raise your arms over your head a lot, it might be distracting.

They’re a little bulky but they don’t scratch and I like the cheerful pink color.
