Ravensburger Dragon - 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults – Every Piece is Unique, Softclick Technology Means Pieces Fit Together Perfectly

The puzzle is absolutely gorgeous but I worked on it off and on for two weeks and was almost done when I discovered I was missing two pieces. I don't know where they are now but my numero uno suspect is my ferret Draco who loves to curl up and sleep at the small of my back on the ottoman I sit on when doing my puzzles. To the casual observer it seems he's just being sweet and cuddly. I was fooled too and I've had the little rat for 5 years. I should have know he had much more diabolical intentions in mind. Draco is picky about his toys...buy him those little bouncy balls, he ignores them. When I moved into this apartment he found a binky the previous owner left under the fridge. He fell in love with it so I bought him a pack of binkies...which he ignores. He doesn't want the new binkies, he only wants that particular binky he found under the fridge. Marshall tubes? Nope, no thanks...but an empty fridge carton from a 12 pack of Pepsi is the greatest invention ever.I suspect those two puzzle pieces are in Dracoland, aka the corner of my living room where he stashes all his toys and blankies, aka the Land where keys, wallets, binkies, anal beads, and puzzle pieces go to become forever lost in a maze of empty Pepsi fridge cartons. I would go look but I fear unearthing that which should remain buried.Anyway, I ended up ordering a second puzzle which was worth it because the pieces make awesome art supplies. I've incorporated them into paintings and collages. Try it if you're like me, or want to be like me and are willing to take in a ferret, free to any good home. Loves puzzle pieces and binkies. Or I might just trade him in for a gerbil.

I am a beginner on puzzle assembly and found this item challenging but not overwhelming. I worked on this puzzle at a leisurely pace and took about three weeks to complete. The puzzle graphics are excellent, and the completed picture is impressive. What I learned as a beginner, if the table is tall and you are sitting down it is more difficult to differentiate the colors and shapes of the pieces during assembly. It is better to have a low table and look down at the puzzle or simply stand and look down at the puzzle during some of the assembly. This really improves the assembly proficiency.

I would highly recommend Ravensburger puzzles to anyone looking for a high quality puzzle. The pieces all fit snugly and it's obvious when they fit. Other puzzles I have done are often tough to tell when a piece fits properly. As with all Ravensburger puzzles I have done, it's a grid. Most pieces are square/rectangular, so every piece has four sides to them. This is actually more difficult than odd shaped pieces, however, it's easier to tell when they fit.The artwork is absolutely stunning. The end result was very impressive. I am a closet nerd and lover of fantasy, so this was right up my alley. The color detail is amazing. I am eventually going to get this one framed.The biggest challenge is that there are only really 4 colors to work with: blue, orange, white & shades of brown/black. Sorting pieces is difficult due to this, but it's still fun. If you're a new puzzler then you may want to skip this.I would say on a difficulty scale that this is about a 6/10. I've done some 2500 piece puzzles, so I would consider myself pretty experienced. I grew up on helping my mom with her puzzles, and she didn't do anything less than 500 when I was a kid and now she doesn't do anything less than 1000.If you're on the fence, I say to just buy it! For around $12 you won't find a better value on a puzzle.

Welp, my puzzle mania that I'm into right now (it's almost all my recent Amazon reviews...sheesh!) has me picking up puzzles that don't even look all that interesting. But, the sale price made it clickable.The good stuff: - It's classic Ravensburger, so the pieces are thick and meaty. - Also, like all their puzzles, the pieces are flush. No "cheating" the puzzler with fake end pieces or offset cuts. - For the first time in any puzzle I've done recently, no machining errors. Zero. Wow!The not so good: - This puzzle was loose. I mean even after completion loose. I've seen a bit of this before with Ravensburger, but nothing this severe. - Conversely (and confoundingly) the puzzle was too tight. Yes, I know it sounds weird, but the pieces would squeeze up in the middle as if they were just too wide in some places. Loose fitting, but size confused. Never seen that before. - Puzzle dust. These guys are the kings of dust. Thank goodness they don't sell their puzzles by the pound!I've had some fun Ravensburger puzzles and even boring puzzles can be fun to complete. But, boring AND annoying, well, I give it the charitable 3 stars because of that beautiful piece cut.Ravensburger has much more enjoyable puzzles out there. Try those before this one.

Finally opened this after purchasing it years ago, just to find out I’m missing ONE PIECE. On top of that, it’s one of the EDGE pieces. 😭 I opened this puzzle BRAND NEW. I checked about three times to see if I accidentally dropped it or if I just didn’t sift through the pieces correctly. Nope. It legitimately is missing one piece. BESIDES that, it’s a great puzzle.

Loved this puzzle. I gave it only four stars for easy assembly not because it’s bad quality but because it’s a tougher puzzle than most which I loved! It was a bit of a challenge. When I was done my daughter and I made sure to put every piece back so we can do it again at the shore in a few years or when we can go back down the shore when this darn virus is gonna. I highly recommend this puzzle and company!! Best puzzle company in the business

Es mi primer rompecabezas de esta marca. Estaba armándolo y noté que faltaban varias piezas.Al parecer a otras personas les pasó lo mismo y estoy muy triste porque es un rompecabezas realmente hermoso.Pude pedir mi reemplazo con Amazon y el segundo llegó completo y con piezas extra.

i have just finished a beautiful jigsaw, i think by Ann Stokes...the graphics were beautiful and the feel and sturdyness of the pieces were fantastic...this new jigsaw is matt and very flat looking, the pieces feel cheaper and some of the picture is peeling off the card....it was not a cheap jigsaw...not sure i would bye again sadly

This is the most beautiful puzzle our family has ever done! This is our first introduction to the Ravensburger puzzle company and wow, you sure can tell the difference with how the pieces fit together. The pieces were sturdy and did not bend or warp and the picture when done is breathtaking. My son loves dragons so this puzzle was extra special for him. It is a challenging puzzle, but perfect for the whole family to pick away at for a week. Would definitely recommend!
