If you're like me and your AirPods Max headband has lost its rigidity over the years of use, then you will not be disappointed in this. It fits perfectly into the headbands canopy and it feels very high quality and solid. Once in place it will stay put. It also provides decent comfort during long periods of listening as it gives the headband a bit of a cushion for your head. Highly recommend!

Projects the top part of the mesh headband just fine. It’s the missing part to separate headband covers which doesn’t protect the mesh, however if you already have a headband cover it takes some trying to get it to fit flush but it works. Fair price too as no one wants a messed up head band when you paid a premium for the headphones!

Like most people who have owned these headphones for the better part of years, the mesh canopy on top has stretched to the point that I get pain from having the rods dig into my head. I originally bought the soft silicone sleeve cover (that covers the rods), this was USELESS. The seam in the cover is such that anytime the headphones sit on your head the seam splits open with the weight of the headphones, which means it offers very little support and still two rods digging into my skull. I then bought this cushion instead, it fits inside the canopy so it also hides the soggy mesh really well. Because it sits a little bit lower than the rods, it provides an even amount of pressure over my head and means the rods can no longer dig into my head! I think the price is a little too high, but it really is the only one that makes these headphones wearable again. Would be nicer if the orange was a little brighter like the image.

Great fit. Bought this as I have recently got the Max and want to preserve long term. Read about the mesh issue people have encountered over time and this works perfectly.

I bought this headband cushion for my AirPods Max and it’s great quality. It was easy to fit, feels comfortable, and adds to the overall usability of the headphones. Definitely good value for money.

it looks good and fits very well BUT it adds quite a bit of weight, it definitely does NOT add cushioning and does NOT effect performance of the mesh in the headband. it would be good for storage and protection of the top of the mesh. it’s quality silicone but not worth the money for the functionality.

A common issue many owners of airpods max have: the mesh tissue in the headband of the aipods max looses its tension after a while. Once it starts sagging, the pressure on the head becomes uncomfortable. This simple silicon band restores support in the headband, and is almost invisible from outside (I chose the black one to go with my space grey airpods max). Very simple, and very effective.
