Excellent product, and so well balanced with all the right vitamins etc., and loved by all the wild birds, seeing their health improving so. so much, as they are not only looking more healthy, but that they fly so much quicker from the tiny ones to the medium size ones, It smells so yummy and chocolate like, no wonder they are doing so well on it. I some times add it to their hydrated dried meal worms dry and fold it in so it sticks to them wet like, and put them then into a nut type feeder and watch the tiny birds and the starlings clinging on and taking them to eat or feed their young, knowing that they were all having a very healthy fresh smelling vitamin balanced goodness in their diet, and seeing them thrive and develop into being feed to feeding themselves as they grow, So a real must have product to buy, FIVE STAR PRODUCT AND SELLER +++++++++++++++++++ many, many thanks

It has proved to be invaluable & the birds love it.
I've been feeding orphaned wild baby birds & this insect food I used in a kaytee mix for birds being hand fed. For the insect eaters who were hand fed meal worms, I used this insect mixture to put the worms onto in order to encourage birds to feed themselves. Once the birds are eating on their own they are put in a soft release aviary with this food honing their flying skills. Once released the food is still being put out each day to sustain them whilst they learn how to fend for themselves. It has proved to be invaluable & the birds love it.

Perhaps not quite so Universal as the packet says....
Took longer to arrive than I expected. I am sure it must be good - but my fledglings did not like it and when I put some out for the wild birds, they all avoided it too. Now I am left with a huge packet (seemed to be the smallest amount I could buy) which will end up going in the bin.Probably not fair to judge the stuff by my experience - maybe it is better for caged birds.. but in the end it was a useless purchase for me.
