Quick Drying Woodstain Dark Oak Satin 750ml

Great consistency. Does not dry too quickly, preventing streaks. Very easy to apply, does not drip. Lovely satin finish.

Lovely colour, goes on a dream and dries quickly. Easy application. I used this on a wooden garden seat in need of weatherproofing. I love the finish this woodstain gives. I would definitely buy this again for any future projects.

I used this to stain/varnish a set of internal shelves. They were made of redwood pine and after three coats, sanded in between they came out with a smooth finish and nice dark greyish brown colour. Dead easy to apply and quick drying.

First off, this seller was super fast with delivery which I really appreciated! As for the wood stain itself, well it’s excellent! It’s super easy to use! I used 3 coats in my table which originally was really light in places. After staining the table is now totally uniformed in colour and then I just added some clear varnish for protection. Job done!

This was incredible, goes on super easy, dries really fast (half an hour for the first coat, an hour or so for the second) is a lovely colour and takes very little to cover a large area. It does take a little working out to not leave brush marks as you go. Very low odour as well, no need to leave windows open overnight, The floor here is the first coat over really rough looking floorboards. The bannister and stair post are two coats over really bad raw wood. Love the satin finish and it made the wood look old and distressed. I'm leaving the floor as I like the old look but the two coats is a really nice deep finish and very even looking. This is great if your floors aren't in new condition and carpet isn't a good option for you.

Very pleased with the results. It is water based so you can add 10% - 25% fresh water to it for the first coat (they used to say that on the back of the tin but they dont now) which makes it quicker to apply. Then put on subsequent coats undiluted. I painted our large garage door and it was ok with two coats but much better with a third and final one. It dries surprisingly quickly and forms a tough weatherproof barrier. Also being water based you can clean your brush in water (obviously do it before the woodstain dries!) rather than needing white spirit or other chemicals. One tip, make sure you really give it a good stir as I found that the colour hangs around at the bottom of the tin so you really need to mix it in before starting work. Great product.
